My husband and I will be heading to Penn State for a game at the end of September. Does anyone know any restaurants that accomodate people with Celiac or any stores where I can buy gluten free food?

There's a great health food store (Sorry I can't remember the name but it's in the phone book) almost across the highway near the Hampton Inn at the extension of College Ave. The Tavern Restauarant was able to accommodate me for dinner with a call ahead of time and a talk with the hostess. Also there's a Wegman's outside of town which has a great gluten-free selection. I think you should do a search of this forum which is where I got most of my ideas. Good luck.

Def check out the Wegmans! You can buy their store brand and the labeling is made for allergies. So if you see a little "G" in a circle on the packaging, usually the front of the product that means it is gluten free! That store is a life saver!

The store near the Hampton is Nature's Pantry. Good selection. Wegman's is awesome.

For restaurants, the chains are Outback and Chili's, which is downtown.
