Sonic-are The Tater Tots Wheat Free?

I was having one of those blood sugar drops and needed food before drving anywhere else, so I stopped this morning with my son at Sonic. I was thinking the tater tots would be safe, but after I'd gotten them and started eating I questioned whether they were coated with wheat.

Does anyone know? I hope not, but had to have something high carb and nothing much else there except the iceream and soda was edible for me.

I don't know about the contents of the Sonic Tater Tots, but there is a very high possibility that they are fried in shared equiptment, with things such as breaded chicken or breaded fish.

I believe only a few drinks are considered gluten free at Sonic. Sorry.

I agree with Lisa. We recently had a Sonic open near us, and I looked at their site and e-mailed them. No response back from them. The only thing my dd has from there is the cherry limeade drink, which is very good!

    • MC can be quite harsh as a laxative if your using it as one very effective....I mean 2 boxes of exlax did me nada back then. For a daily supplement try just taking Nature Vitality Calm twice daily start off with 1/4tsp work your way up to 1tsp doses if you can. If this is too harsh on you use a Magnesium Glycinate like Doctors best, less effective as a laxative but will still help provide you with a magnesium you body can utilize.
    • Thanks will try MC I tried LBS although it worked but it was brutal on my stomach 😬😬
    • OH odd info here but the best way I found found to use it is a slow low temp extraction into coconut oil, and using this oil in cooking. Use a mortar and pestal to grind your greens into a fine powder, and heat slowly in a pan with virgin coconut oil just very low temp for a while you will see the oils from the greens mix with the coconut oil. You can then use this oil blend in baking edibles, or in whatever you wish. I make it very weak myself with just small bag in a entire 16oz container of coconut oil. I do it for the medical benefits nothing else. I like using it in paleo breads, or drizzle a bit over salads,   CBD oil also has some benefits I have noticed in smaller amounts and CBD is legal in most states the gold one seems to be the best.
    • Yeah pretty standard, I also have neurological symptoms. Magnesium helps with the constipation and if you have any issues with nerve pain, numbness, prickly feelings, etc. ......I used to go 8-12 days of constipation.....was hell nothing made it move unless I drank 2 whole bottles of magnesium citrate maximum strength laxative.
    • don't forget how sneaky celiac is:  i never noticed how incredibly awful i felt (and it was over a long period of being undiagnosed/never heard of celiac until it almost killed me) because it creeeeeeped up.  a little migraine here, a little neck pain there, allll the gi symptoms, a little rashy rash here, a little pneumonia there, a little less energy here, a little weight loss there.  it's not, oh, i ate gluten and now i feel like a truck hit me and you can pinpoint exactly what you ate.  nope.  it's constant inflammation that messes everything up and causes symptoms that most people don't connect as being caused by the same thing.  i never knew how terrible i felt until it started going away.   and even then, it was like peeling an onion:  things went away a little at a time (haha i had a 'background headache' that i didn't even know i had until one day i woke up and it was gone!!)  good luck
