hi all I am a newbie cook in the gluten-free arena. I just found for my daughter, a gluten free rice puff cereal today, and I had the brainstorm of making a small batch of the good ole Rice Krispie treats, substituting this cereal for the Rice Crispies.

Is Marshmallow fluff or plain ole Marshmellows gluten free? From what I can see the potential offending ingredient is corn syrup.

I am new at analyzing ingredients, thanks for your help.

Corn syrup is made from corn, and is gluten-free. There might be other ingredients to worry about, but that is not one of them. If I recall correctly, Kraft marshmallows are gluten-free. To confirm that, just read the label. Kraft will clearly disclose any gluten by name.

Marshmellow Fluff is gluten-free, below is from their website. Enjoy your treats. I like to drizzle gluten-free dark chocolate or add gluten-free minichocolate chips to mine.
