Are they actually Dollar Tree brand (is there even a DT brand?) or some other brand?

Candy canes are pretty much universally gluten-free but I certainly can't guarantee that every single kind is.

Could you be having a reaction to corn? I know I felt really bad when eating things with corn syrup! Going totally corn free made my bloat and pain level go down. I hate not having my Christmas candy canes..but it's been so worth it!
