Gluten Free Baker On The Oregon Coast?!?!

1 post in this topic

I was attending a dessert auction fundraiser for a local private school this last weekend. There were actually 2 Gluten Free desserts there from Lola Foods Gluten Free! Usually I get to look but never do I get to eat! I was soo excited to see this moist, scrumptious Sticky Toffee Fig Cake on display! Let me just say, it was nothing short of amazing! Even the people that don't need it were amazed! I got the card only to discover that it is a local baker from Lincoln City, Oregon. She also donated another dessert called Sopapillas. They are crispy fried gluten-free flour tortilla bits covered with cinnamon and sugar and they come in a clear bag which resembles a popcorn bag from the movies! So clever and they were a tasty snack for the vegan, gluten-free table that purchased them. I cannot wait to visit her. If you get to Lincoln City, she's located in the Lighthouse Doughnuts Bakery in the North end of town. Happy eating!!
