Altoids Minis, Contain Wheat!

I recently switched from the regular sized Altoids to the mini's that they sell at Target, cuz I like the way they fit into my purse. I've been eating them on and off for MONTHS, and just last night decided to turn over the box and read the ingredients and sure enough...WHEAT maltodextrin. I've been having headaches and insomnia all week and now I know why! Just wanted to warn others so no one else makes my mistake!!

I'm wondering what flavor you had. I don't recall my simply mint or wintergreen ones listing wheat but maybe I was being stupid.

I used to rely on Altoids for my horrible nausea before I found out I had celiac. After I found out, I called Altoids, which are made by Wrigleys, and all Wrigleys products are gluten free except the Altoids minis and chocolate covered Altoids.

I think they were wintergreen...I've seen online where they simply put "maltodextrin", but my box definitely said "wheat maltodextrin".

Oh and they are altoids smalls, not minis. Got my words mixed up
