I can't have gluten, corn, corn syrup, potato, tomato, dairy. I need some ideas for meals please! All I eat is meat, veggies, and fruit... And can't eat too much veggies as it makes me way too bloated. I am sinking in to a terrible depression bc I want to eat other things and I don't know what other choices I have. Everything I eat bloats me out to look like I'm pregnant. Which also makes me very irritable and cranky. Also, I don't like eggs. Breakfast and lunch are the hardest. Fruit is just not filling me enough. Ahh I am feeling very homeless today :(

Sorry to hear that. I have somewhat different food issues than you but I can relate. Can you eat rice? That's what I turn to.

Sweet potatoes. You can have them with your meat and a small serving of vegetables, or you can bake them, peel them (the skin comes right off if they're baked first), then mash them with a little bit of cinnamon and sugar. Tastes just like pumpkin pie filling and makes a great dessert. And the best part is they are FULL of nutrition.

For snacks can you have nuts? I find them really filling and something I don't need to cook (which I do enough of already with my multiple intolerances like you). If nuts are hard to digest you can try soaking them first, I find that helps a lot. For an afternoon pick-me-up I've been known to have a few squares of chocolate (dairy free, soy free chocolate) too. Rice crackers and hummus with a few veggies can be made into a light lunch as well.

I realize it is still summer (and may still be hot where you are), but you can make some pretty filling soups with rice noodles, chicken, veggies. Stews are good too if you are into that sort of thing. You can make up a bunch of either and take it for lunch.

For a good breakfast, if you don't like eggs, you can make up a batch of really hearty breakfast cookies. Let me know if you'd like a recipe. A couple of those with a glass of non-dairy milk or some tea and a bit of fruit and I'm good to go.

You can make as pumpkin "pie" with coconut milk or almond milk. No crust. Just bake in the pan.

Beans. Refried with celery or rice chips to dip.

Nuts? Peanuts? Pb on celery or apples or gluten-free rice cakes. Any other nut butter on apples or gluten-free rice cakes.

I think there are yogurts made with coconut or almond milk.

Do you have a crockpot? Throw the veggies you can have and meat in and yum. You could put them over rice or rice noodles. Season them differently. Spicy or Asian flavors or curry.

Yess I can have rice but what can i put on it?

Lots of stuff.

You can make it sweet with sugar, almond milk, raisens, cinnamon.

You can add cooked chicken, beans and rice to it.

Look for a coconut rice recipe like they serve at some Asian places.

You can use rice noodles and put pesto on it. You can make it with any green you like, not just basil. Leave out the cheese.

Breakfast Smoothies - I use several pieces of any combo of fruit and a couple large handfuls of spinach in a blender - I only add water to help mix, but if you can tolerate rice or almond milks you can expand into other types of smoothies.

We use many combos of blueberry, apples, pears, peaches, plums, banana, melon, mango, cherries, etc. - I can't tolerate oranges or pineapple, but they taste great in there.

Much more filling than eating pieces of fruit - plus I love knowing I got loads of spinach in too -- we use other greens, but spinach is our go to green.

I just made these this weekend. My boyfriend threatens to steal them they are so good...hehe I never thought that would happen when I started gluten-free/dairy free baking :). They do have oats in them, so be careful if you are sensitive to them.

My 5 year old daughter is allergic to egg, dairy and soy so, I've been struggled with what to feed my family for years. Now with my recent Celiac I was at a complete loss for a while there.

Lately I've been researching recipes online. A bunch of good ones seems to be on http://glutenfreegoddess.blogspot.ca/p/site-index.html and skinnyms.com. Also I know get allergy living magazine, which is great.

    • MariaofColumbia,   I came across this thread when a two different friends had posted on facebook.  I read it and felt like you were talking to me.  I've had issues for 7 years now.  My candida cannot get under control.  I went and checked my vitamin B levels and they are high.  I've been on methyl folate for several months now, but only one pill a day.  I do have one MTHFR gene mutation.  I've tried SO MANY candida diets/options and the minute I stray it is back out of whack...or it never really gets rid of it.  I pick up viruses fairly frequently because my immune system is so taxed.  I'm so very tired of dealing with this!!!  I'm wondering if you could go into more detail as to what exactly you started taking/how often/what foods you still avoided (sugar/vinegar/mushrooms/peanut butter/etc), and where your healthy B levels are at now?  You can find me on facebook as Jessica Hecker Andersen and we could always private message as well.  I really wish I could just call you!  lol.  Please, any further information would be very much appreciated.  Thank you!
    • Thank you all for taking the time to respond.  It's comforting to know I have a place to ask questions and share my concerns.   My daughter's antibodies are as follows: 1/9/17:  783.6 (before stopping gluten) 5/16/17: 69.7 8/14/17: 50.6 Her thyroid/hormones all in normal range.  An endoscopy in May showed her villi looked good with minimal damage. Her B12 (checked on 8/14/17) is excellent.  Her antibodies will be checked again when she returns home in Dec.  She avoids gluten as much as possible, however she's away at college so cross contamination is likely.  She eats extremely well -- mostly salads, vegetables, protein, fruits, rice.  When on the go she supplements with kind bars, quest bars, or Rx bars.  She'll snack on gluten-free crackers (Blue Diamond made from almonds), hummus, peanut butter, and popcorn.  Once in awhile she'll treat herself to Tate's gluten-free cookies or Halo ice cream.  She's in college so, yes, she drinks alcohol on occasion.  Titos gluten-free vodka, but no beer!  Since stopping gluten her stomach feels much better, less bloating and pain (her main complaints before stopping gluten).  I do notice when she's home on break from college she will have a healthy, nice sized portion of food at each meal and say she feels very full afterward, yet shortly after she will feel hungry again and need to reach for a snack (always a healthy one).  She takes 2 gluten free gummy Multi-Vites (same as Costco brand I believe) as well as vitamin D daily.   She was diagnosed with celiac on 1/11/17, stopped gluten immediately, and her last period started on 1/13/17.  For six years her period was very regular and it only changed once she stopped eating gluten.  I have to believe there is a connection.  The frustrating part is that nobody has any answers.  I know my daughter would feel a lot better if her cycle returned.  We will seek the advice of a nutritionist as well as continue speaking to doctors, but in the meantime if you have any more suggestions I welcome them (i.e., foods, supplements, vitamins, etc).  Thank you all very much!            
    • If only they were peanut free . I been buying my seeds from Gerbs allergen friendly foods for past 5+ years. I end up buying my almonds, walnuts, and pistachios from dedicated companies....got to admit I get a better deal on almonds but I go through 25lbs every 2 months.
    • Good to know I would like to get more nuts and seeds  but find many retailers by me have the shared equipment claim on package so I've held off other than some almonds. My daughter and I are battling over all the fresh pumpkin seeds I've been roasting so I should see if nuts .com sells some a 5 lb bag would fix the ordeal likely a need for magnesium -
