All my Drs had not tested my Thyroid Antibodies and just kept telling me it was 'normal'. Now I am onto Armour the weight is dropping off like magic and I don... -

Do you know what brand of Jaffas are gluten-free. Did you know that American M&Ms are gluten-free ??? Do you know if we can bring them into Australia? I have a friend coming here soon from America. I don't know about the frozen Fruches. I wonder if they come from a different factory that isn't gluten-free safe? Haven't heard from Boost yet. -

ARCHIVED Does It Have To Be Gluten Related?
georgie replied to almostnrn's topic in Dermatitis Herpetiformis
Its a Catch 22 - isn't it So ... I could still be tested for DH despite being gluten-free for 6 months. The areas that had the rash still itches a bit - but there is no visible sign of it now. -

ARCHIVED Celiacs In Nursing Homes - How Can We Make Sure They Are Safe.
georgie posted a topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
A friend of mine rang in tears. Her father has dementia since a stroke and now has had a fall and been put into a Nursing Home. He has been Celiac for many years - basically eating correctly with the occasional lapse for which he suffered each time. Now he is in this Nursing Home the staff are giving him cookies as 'one won't matter', and making him sandwiches... -
I have heard its OK. I haven't had it done myself. My saliva test was for adrenals and hormones and that test was the most accurate test I had for ages. I have had a lot of blood tests and they haven't always been that accurate. Find out now that you can have cellular resistance with adrenal fatigue , and that gives artificially high/good serum results ,...

The book is fairly heavy reading as its a medical text book. My hubbie read it and has told me pieces of info. The team at STTM have made it even easier to understand if you can follow their forums. Basically a healthy adrenal produces 40 - 60 mg of cortisone a day. If you have low adrenal function you need to supplement for a while to rest and heal. The closest...

The medically accepted way to treat and perhaps cure Adrenal Fatigue is per Dr Jeffries book' Safe Uses of Cortisol'. He has tested his work over many...

I was dx as Gluten Intolerant last June and went on the gluten-free diet. About this time I also developed a symmetrical rash that was very itchy. It wasn't a big area - just about 2" square. It was there about 4 months, and has now disappered. I am wondering if it was DH and the diet made it better. Would it be too late now to have a biopsy done ? The rash...
