About Me

I now have two handsome grandsons, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. My husband is still working overseas as an independent contractor. Life is good!

  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. This is too funny! Tide original is the only detergent that does not make anyone in my house break out! Each person in my house reacts to a different detergent, so now I am afraid to try anything new.
  3. I would like to know where and how to begin an elimination test, too. My doc told me to use the ELISA test for a starting place, but if it can be done without the test, I'd like to try it.
  4. Ditto Jerseyangel. The delayed reactions are why the journal is so necessary.
  5. There is a difference between IgE and IgG, and it does matter. How a person feels on a day-to-day basis is very important. If you don't think so, try being run down, achey, and depressed for a few months, then have a day of feeling fantastic. You will see the difference. If certain foods are...
  6. I am biopsy-diagnosed celiac with multiple food intolerances. I have discovered most of the ones I know of by trial-and-error. 7. It reads like they are trying to be politically correct and cover all of their bases. What a bunch of maroons they are!
  8. Pregnancy puts an immense pressure on the stomach and esophagus. I had trouble with eating each time I was pregnant because of it. It could be the revival of your choking is only because of the pregnancy.
  9. Not only intolerant, but very allergic! Last time I ate rice, I ate 2 crackers, and wound up in the ER with a bad reaction!
  10. I have them all the time. Bloodwork shows that my hormone levels are changing with perimenopause, so that is what causes mine.
  11. I guess no more syrup for me. I'll just stick with my homemade blackberry jam and honey. Maybe someday I will get some real maple syrup, but until then, I don't think so!
  12. Regular Log Cabin has gluten?!? >thunk!< That explains why I have been having such trouble for the last month, since that is the only syrup I use on my Sunday morning pancakes! WWWAAAHHH!!!
  13. Thanks for the recipe, Donna! Always nice to know what else can be done to satisfy that chocolate tooth!
