  1. Hi there, I am wondering if someone can help me alter my recipe for scalloped potatoes. The recipe requires dredging the potato slices in about 2 tablespoons of flour before adding the hot milk mixture. Then the recipe bakes for 1 and 1/2 hours. Would cornstarch be okay or should I be concerned that it will not work well due to the long baking time? Would sweet rice flour be better? Any suggestions would be appreciated as I am not on a gluten-free diet, but am making this for a dinner with a friend who has Celiac. Thank you so much! LilyV
