  1. Hi, this is my post today to an issue raised under a differnet section. It might help. The mix I happened up on is pure bliss!!! It sounds like you have exactly what I had on the scalp. If I get back on the gluten/gliadin it erupts every three weeks. Hi there, I was diagnosed with psoriasis 30 years ago but I always refused to believe I had it. Anyway after a LOOOOONG time I determined that I had Dermatitis Herpetiformis, and so when I went of Gluten/gliadin. I now have no problems. I tried just about everything to help myself as I was just having to pour Betnovate all over my scalp every three weeks. I also had problems on my face (cheeks, eyebrows, folds of the nose and in my ears). Eventually (until I worked out what the real problem was) I used to get full relief from a 50/50 mixture of organic apple cider vinegar and isopropyl alcohol. Some mixed in honey also worked (but not on the scalp!!!). I still use the mix as an aftershave. Checkout ACV on WWW. Also, try giving Green Tea a go as a wash. Bubs

  3. Many Filipinos also have a Spanish ancestry, and many folk from Spain are also Celts, so maybe that could also be it. I am of Irish/Scottish/Scandanavian descent but only seem to suffer DH - although I have family members who suffer GI problems. As a sufferer of DH I have often wondered if people of Asian extraction have a reaction to wheat in the form of Asian Acne (which seems to me to be becoming a big problem), as having lived and worked in Indonesia (and visted much of Asia too) I have seen the mad, mad rise of the use of wheat and milk products there. Anyway, think positive. I suffered for 30 years before it was figured out that I did not have psoriasis! Life gets beter. Bubs
  4. This is my first post EVER so please bear with me. I was diagnosed with psoriasis some 30 years ago, although I never believed I actually had it! Its a Looong story. I actually suffer from DH but do not seem to have an issue with any GI matters; however I have a brother who has serious GI issues, and a daughter who suffered from severe ocular migraines in her early teens until all gluten was removed from her diet. My DH is a scalp and face issue, yet my father suffered DH (which I now retrospectively realise) on his feet and ankles. Anyway, as interesting as this all may or may not be my reason for posting this is that I was interested to discover that current research suggests that celiac problems are related to chromosome 6. I found this very interesting as I also am dyslexic and current research on dyslexia also shows that this condition is also related to chromosome 6. For relief of HD breakouts I use a 50/50 mix of organic Apple Cider Vinegar and isopropyl alchohol. Its bliss.
