The emotional stress alone from dealing with such a situation will severely deplete vitamin and mineral status beyond gluten free or AIP diet. I sincerely hope your situation will get better as soon as possible. 

I'm so sorry reading about your situation. To me it sounds as if your wife is gaslighting you. 

Glad you are feeling better. Many drugs need to be tapered off rather than quitting suddenly. Your doctor or pharmacist should be able to tell you if the ones you are on is safe to just stop suddenly.

Try a different doc. I was diagnosed by a naturopathic MD based on 3 things :  high positive blood test, DNA test, response to gluten free diet. I have a letter from him with that diagnosis.

The neurological manifestation of celiac disease (and gluten sensitivity) is not uncommon, so I am not sure why your doctor would indicate otherwise. Here are dozens of summaries of research on this:

It's certainly possible. I DO have drug reactions that have nothing to do with gluten. That said, it doesn't change the fact that we need safe, allergen-free drugs.
