I'd love to be involved! That sounds like a great idea, and I'm sure we could find many more people in the area to join. Do you know of any great food places (retaurants or stores) in Westwood that have gluten free options? I wont have a car next year, so it will probably be pretty tough to get any farther from campus.

I'm brand new to the site as well and have only recently gone gluten free. I'll be heading to UCLA in the fall for my first year of college. I'll be living in the dorms as well, and eating at the cafeteria sounds pretty scary at the moment, but thats what I get to deal with, I guess. Any advice for making this work? And anyone else at UCLA? Or from the Bay Area?

Hi everyone,

I'm brand new to the site! I have been gluten-free for only a few months, and everything I have read here so far has been so extremely helpful. In September, I'll be heading down to UCLA (from the Bay Area) for my first year of college. Eating in college is always difficult, and with celiac, it will be even tougher. Is there anyone else attending UCLA, or at least living or going to school in that area? It would be great to get a group together!
