  1. Hello, I have been gluten-free for almost two years now and I'm finally pregnant! Yay! The thing is, I am hungry all the time. Also, I am nauseous all the time. Its really hard because I crave things that I didn't necessarily like when I WASNT on a gluten-free diet!! (uhh..subway? I have always hated that!) It seems that my body is hungry all the time, I try to eat as much protein as I can to sustain the hunger, but I'm still hungry! Any snack ideas? I avoid dairy and soy as well. I am running out of ideas! Help!

  2. Hi there! I take Fem-pre-natal by MetaGenics. It can be ordered online or through an alternative doctor or chiro. Whole Foods and Wild Oats used to carry, but then they stopped. This brand is specifically made free of allergies and it is made to be gentle on the tummy. One bottle has 30 packets, what I do is split one package a day so I take 3 after eating and 3 right before bed. So far so good!!

  3. I went through the same thing. We tried last year and I miscarried. Exactly one month after that painful event, my sister announced her pregnancy. Talk about mixed emotions! It was so hard for me to be supportive when I was SO angry and jealous and sad. My mom is Deaf so she asked me to interpret the first obgyn appointment for my sister...needless to say, I was in there for a total of 3 minutes before I exited bawling. It took me a while to snap out of it, I think when she was seven months, I started to develop a healthier relationship with her. Its hard, I totally get it. One thing that helped me was focusing so much on getting healthy so I didn't have to go through it again...and yoga. Yoga always seems to help. Good luck sweetie and thank you for venting, you are not alone.
