  1. Bob & Ruth's travel club have all gluten-free getaways http://www.bobandruths.com/
  2. Check out www.glutenfreeregistry.com they even have a red "I want Pizza" button on the left side that only shows gluten-free pizza locations around you very cool
  3. Best tip I ever got was to buy all your favorite gluten-free products on Amazon and have them shipped to the hotel. I wish I had done that in the past.
  4. you might want to try glutenfreeregistry.com free searchable database of gluten free friendly businesses hope this is helpful barbara dx 03/03
  5. Hi, I travel a lot and I stress out being out of my comfort zone. But I try to take it one day at a time. It's definately getting easier. There are sites like you mentioned. www.glutenfreerestaurants.org www.glutenfreeregistry.com www.glutenfreeceliacweb.com
  6. I hope you have a great trip. If you are going through phoenix, Az you should check out Lynn Rae's bakery Gluten-Free Creations. http://www.glutenfreecreations.com/ She is the best gluten-free baker of all the things I've tried. And if you have some time definately have some gluten free pizza at Pizza Picazzo. Be sure to ask for the gluten free menu, they have treats and other stuff on there as well. YUMMY http://www.picazzos.com/ I've heard good things at Sweet Maries Hawaii, but I haven't been back to check it out yet. http://www.sweetmarieskauai.com/ Hope this helps some. Keep asking around, you will find someone else who has all the info. You are not alone.
  7. Thanks for the tip. I checked it out. I love stuff like this, because I travel alot. But I can't find much real information on the site
  8. Hi. You should check out www.glutenfreeregistry.com They offer a free searchable database for gluten-free friendly restaurants, bakeries, and more. The gfregistry also lets you search that database on your mobile phone and you can download points of interest files for your GPS system. very cool Loving that there is more awareness.
  9. Hi, There is a free website that lists restaurants in the US that offer gluten free menus. check out gfregistry.com I heard they are even going to roll out a mobile phone version. I will have to check on that.
  10. thank you, thank you, thank you, I am soooo much more excited about this trip now. (the last trip I went to Florida I was very sick) Looking forward to the warmer weather too!
  11. I agree to the pack your own food! I fly a lot and upgrade to first class often, but they won't give me a gluten-free meal. I even bought first class tickets over the Christmas holiday when I was flying and they wouldn't let me order a gluten-free meal. Their response is, if it is an international flight forget about it. so sorry, so be prepared on your own. happy traveling I hope the destination will make it all great.
  12. Hi, Has anyone mentioned Candle Cafe? I have heard about it, but haven't been back to NYC to try it out. I just might have to move to New York. There are a bunch of gluten-free bakeries there too:) They are all listed on gfregistry.com I hope you have a great trip. Eat well for all of us.
  13. Does anyone have a recommendation for a gluten free dining spot in Sarasota, FL? I'd love to find a couple places, so I can book a hotel by them. Thanks,
  14. Sorry, I wasn't trying to advertise Pizza Fusion. I was just excited about getting Gluten Free pizza. I better go eat lunch now. thanks
  15. Thank you, that is awesome. It will be great when we can find gluten free choices on every menu. I also heard that there are 3 gluten-free pizza franchises trying to roll out gluten-free pizza stores across the country. Wow, wouldn't that be great. One of them is pizza fusion. Check them out at www.Lame Advertisement.
