Hi, thanks for the response. I did one of those home tests for celiac disease but it came up negative. It's funny because I would get symptoms on days when I did not eat any gluten. I have been keeping track of all my meals and on the days I would feel bloated and gassy I noticed I had peanut or almond butter earlier. I think I may get a reaction from that as well. I guess I should make a doctor's appointment to see what's going on.

Hi everyone,
so here's the deal. I thought I may have been gluten intolerant when I started getting the symptoms every day and wheat products were the only thing I could think of that I ate everyday. As a result of the constant stomach cramps due to gas, I started a gluten-free diet. The first few days were promising as a immediately noticed a difference: no gas, no stomach pains, no exhaustion. Every now and again I would experience the gluten intolerance symptoms while on the diet and I had no idea what could of been causing it since gluten has been completely eliminated. Nonetheless, I felt pretty comfortable so I continued the diet.
After 2 weeks, I decided to re-introduce gluten just to be sure that this was the cause of my problems. After eating a hearty breakfast which included croissants, scones, and other bread products, I did not experience any symptoms whatsoever. the entire day. Confused, I decided to eat some regular fiber cereal later that day thinking that I would feel something, at some point, but once again, I had no symptoms. So this obviously left me confused. Thinking that I was not gluten intolerant and that something else was bothering my stomach, I ate pasta for lunch today....this triggered the symptoms; bad gas, stomach pains, and bloating. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!!!!
I really don't know why I get reactions sometimes...if I had an intolerance to gluten wouldn't I feel the symptoms all the time? Could I have an intolerance to something else? HELP!!!!
I Am So Confused...need Some Advice!

The home test is about $50 dollars. I'm not sure where to get it as my boyfriends mom is a doctor and she got it for me. I'm pretty sure you can get it through your doctor or maybe even online if you google celiac home test. It pretty much works like a home pregnancy test. You place a couple drops of blood on a stick and if you are positive for celiac disease, 2 lines will appear. If not, only one line appears. You have to prick your finger and that part kind of sucks but it's easy. Like I said, it came up negative for me so I guess that's why I'm so confused about my symptoms.
