I got mine for Christmas last year and it has been wonderful!! I use it all the time and even though it is heavy, it's easy to clean and beautiful. I have an artisan model with the lift up bowl.
-
I used to do this all the time! I also used to bite my lip until it turned into a bump. I don't do it as much but I do know that if I get glutened I get a mouth sore.

I mostly lurk
In my defense, I can usually find someone else here with the same issues I'm dealing with and I just tag along.

Yellow rake?!

I used to watch Laugh In too!!! I once even painted my body with my mother's lipstick!
It took a lot of scrubbing to get off.

I love these! They are my "go to" lunch when I'm running late or out of everything else. I like that the label on the front says that they are gluten free and that they taste really good!

Just to let you know my sister just called me to rename this bread. She calls it "Remember Bread"!
It's the best!

I didn't know a thing about celiac. When I was really sick and on bed rest I did come across celiac disease on the internet. I went to the library and found a single sentence about it! Thank God for the internet!!!

Can't wait! My kids and I are big HP fans. We like to listen to the books on compact disc. We like the movies but, I'd rather see a mini series with the entire story than the edited versions on film.
Is Snape good or evil?......

I made this bread a couple of weeks ago and it came out of the oven looking absolutley wonderful! Unfortunately- that loaf fell. I later read that the batter could be too wet, I made it the other day with a little less water and it is perfect. Everyone loved it! The only downside to that is that now I have to make more

I don't seem to fit the body shape or the face shape! I also work on my feet and have rarely had any prolems. I'll give half a butt to anyone
Although, now that I think about it my grandmother (through whom we have tracked the celiac gene) did have that body shape. She would never have complained about herself so we will never know if she had symptoms.

I'll be waiting to hear how it went. I used to travel a lot but have been getting the itch... I'd like to go farther than I can drive next vacation!

I have two children and they have given me by far the most difficult, challenging and magnificent times of my life. I am sorry your sister is so unhappy, especially when it effects others so much. You should do what you think is best for you-not what other people say you should do!

That is pretty much what a saltine looks like.

I found Nature Made For Her with calcium & iron at BJ's wholesale club. 220 tablets for $14.99 and it says gluten free right on the label! I take them before bed so they don't bother my stomach.

I have made my own pasta with other recipes than hers, but Tinkyada is so much better. I have tried bean flour based pasta from the health food store and I didn't care for it very much-too... beany.
I would try the potato/tapioca/corn to start.

I still get bouts of depression every now and then. As soon as I went glutenfree I felt like an anvil was lifted off my head and I was able to be happy for the first time in a long time. Now it could be any number of "regular" things that give you the blues. Not enough sunshine, sleep etc. Canadian Karen's new hair style just gave me a good lift
Or you could try to treat yourself. Hope it passes quickly!

This may be one of the few days I want to go in to work just so I can use the phrase Frisk the Wookie! I think my coworkers will appreciate it- I know it made my day.
-
Okay, tomorrow I have to go and get some! Maybe some marshmallows too. Which make better treats- the Cocoa Pebbles or the Fruity ones?
-
I just read in a People type magazine that Gwyneth Paltrow is following a gluten free diet to lose baby weight. Maybe she always does?!
-
Me too! Now they are a way of telling if I've been mildly glutened. PS I hate them!!!
-
I have asthma too! I also am allergic to dust, dust mites, tree pollen and cats. Luckily, almost all of my symptoms have been greatly reduced since going gluten free. I haven't used an inhaler in 2 years.

Before diagnosis my liver enzymes were all over the place, some were too high others were too low. My GP sent me to a liver specialist gastroenterologist- who of course checked for everything else first.

Our beagle, who eats just about anything, won't eat gluten free bread. Our mastiff will eat it along with anything else (shoes, the porch etc.)
