  1. Doctors

I live in Northern Indiana and am in need of a doctor who knows more about celiac than just looking up the word when I mention it to them. I have been diagnosed with celiac about 8-9 months ago and have been doing my level best to stay on a gluten free diet. I am having side effects on top of side effects but can't seem to get answers from my doctors..
  2. Can anyone please help, I am embarassed to even mention this but wonder if anyone else has had the same issue. Iwas diagnosed with celiac about 5 months ago and have been having extreme nipple sensitivityfor about 5 weeks. I am a male in my 30's average height and in pretty good health besides this celiac thing. I have searched many web sites on celiac but cannot find anything concerning this issue. This is not a joke and I do not mean to offend anyone but was just curious if anyone who has had this disease longer than me could be of help.
  3. Can anyone please help?, I am having trouble with things that say natural or artificial coloring. From what I understand,I am supposed to stay away from these but if something is "natural" there should not be anything wrong with it right??? Is Is everything with either of these things a no go.
  4. i have found that Kelloggs corn pops are gluten-free but that seems to be the only cold cereal that I have found so far as I have only been on this fun diet for 3 months now. As far as hot cereals go I enjoy the Arrowhead Mills "rice and shine" but can only tlerate it by putting sliced fruit and/or raisins in it.
  5. Low Energy

Was wondering if anyone has suggestions for how to keep your energy up while on this gluten-free diet. I was diagnosed about 3 months ago and have been on this diet since. My energy level seems to drop off quit a bit even though I exercise regularly and maintain a decent weight to height ratio. Joint trouble has really come on to haunt me also since being on this diet, does that happen to most?
