  2. http://www.(Company Name Removed - They Spammed This Forum and are Banned)/Enzymedica-GLUTENEASE-Glutenease-60-capsules/dp/B001395IC2 I've never used it, so i'm not sure if it works
  3. EMA took 3 weeks for me. More goes into it.......someone has to look under a slide multiple times.
  4. Does dairy slow the healing process? Or does it just cause other symptoms?
  5. I was in a motorcycle accident that seemed to bring on the bad symptoms.
  6. You can view it at www.Hulu.com as well.
  7. It's not true. Gluten can not be added or taken out of wheat.......they have been trying for years. Plus Hefeweizen (Wheat Beer) makes me unbelievably ill.
  8. I get symptoms in both legs, but only in one arm.
  9. I started taking everything I could get my hands on, thinking it couldn't hurt. I then started getting very bad paresthesia (numbness and tingling) and I thought it was due to the Celiac. I stopped taking most of my supplements for 2 days and the tingling went away. I had a vitamin screening by my doctor, but only on select vitamins......I decided to take...
  10. "Dogs with celiac disease cannot tolerate gluten, a protein present in wheat, barley and rye. Eating those grains causes an abnormal immune response that attacks the small intestine. Irish Setters are the only breed known have to true celiac disease, but many dogs are sensitive to glutenous grains. Untreated celiac disease can lead to malnutrition and damage...
  11. It's distilled so it should be fine......but it did contain gluten at some point. I drink it with no problem.
  12. I never liked bananas.......now that i'm gluten free I can't stop eating them......like 5-6 a day, maybe my body is telling me I need more potassium.
  13. I've been getting pretty bad bilateral leg pain/weakness off and on for a long time. It seems to be worse in the morning, and is sometimes accompanied by tingling in my feet or hands. Is this something that is Celiac related? I've had my thyroid levels checked as many family members have Hashimotos , but i'm fine. I also had normal calcium, magnesium and...
  14. I don't think any restaurant that isn't completely gluten free can guarantee there won't be cross contamination.
  15. Olive Garden, Red Lobster ( I think you have to call ahead) Chili's, Applebee's. Basically any chain restaurant will either have a gluten free menu, or you can find menu items online. Make sure you let your server know about your issues.
  16. I have Celiac Disease, and I'm not short or skinny. I did lose weight before diagnosis (went from 230lbs to 170lbs in a couple months) but i'm also 6 feet tall and back to about 215lbs.
  17. This could be part of your problem if your lactose intolerant.
  18. Neutrophils are a type of white blood cell. You have nothing to worry about WBC count fluctuates throughout the day, and your count is only .4 over the median. Different labs have different reference values. At one lab your over and another your normal.......your doctor is looking for much higher or lower numbers ,if he/she were worried, you would have heard...
  19. I just learned the other day , the only dog that can get true Celiac Disease are Irish Setters. I thought this was very funny.
  20. OK, I'll bite. How did you get the squirrel to pose in your profile picture? :-)

  21. It would actually be the opposite. Up to %80 of alcohol is absorbed in the small intestines and only %20 is absorbed in the stomach. If your intestines are not absorbing correctly (Celiac) than you will not absorb all of the alcohol. What your talking about sounds like a hepatic disorder.......witch could be related to Celiac Disease. (contradictory statements...
  22. If you would have read my post, it states that I caught a non Celiac related cold.
  23. It's from Pulp Fiction.......I don't really say that to myself, I just thought it was funny.
  24. There really is no cure for lipomas minus surgery. I have about 10 of them. Really all they are is bunched up fat cells.
