    Super Target

I got a response from Target...not what I wanted to hear. It is usually those two items that I have gotten there....they replaced the quinoa pasta with a different kind that I havent tried yet. They have some baking mixes also in the baking asile and Bob's gluten-free baking mix. There are a few more things I'm sure that I cant think of off the top of my head........
  3. Anyone else have their Super Target stop carrying Amy's Rice crust pizza and Ancient Harvest Quinoa pasta? I sent them an email because this disappointed me greatly! I counted on Super Target for getting at least some things cheaper than at Wild Oats....
  4. That is a great site. I have been on Cytomel since Feb 21 06 and I feel so much better. Those are all the same symptoms I presented my doctor with. Although she didnt call it Wilson's Temp Syndrome, luckily I was able to convince her that there was a problem that needed to be addressed. My thyroid tests all came back "normal" but since being on the meds I have improved greatly.... Thanks for the links!
  5. I ate pei-wei to go tonight. I have always had wonderful success with them being gluten-free and if it isnt fixing the problem before I eat anything...well somehow 2 gluten filled noodles (flat noodles) ended up in my gluten-free sweet and sour chix. I mistakenly ate one thinking it was an onion and then of course freaked out when i realized it wasnt an onion and i found another noodle....needless to say I am feeling pretty crappy already and it is just going to get worse over the night

    Thyroid Problems

I've just recently been put on Cytomel for hypothyroid. I was in the "normal" tsh range but i convinced my doctor that it wasnt "normal" for me. The small dosage of Cytomel has made the difference. I have lost about 10 lbs in the last month or so. I started on the meds around Feb 20. It has made an amazing difference in my energy, depression, fatigue, and overall health. I feel like "me" again.

Anyone know about the new Starbucks Coffee Liqueur?

    Leap Testing

Yes, my insurance covered part of the test....not all of it. I think we have to trust our own doctors especially if they have produced reliable information so far. I got diagnosed with celiac disease within 3 weeks of first seeing this doctor and I trust him and what he feels is the best steps for me to take. Even if this test doesnt have as much research in the US, I read that they use the same type of test a lot in Europe. My doctor did say it's fairly new technology in the US, so that may be why there arent as many studies. All I know is that I am feeling better already from eliminating the said foods and when I accidently ate one of them, I did have a reaction. I'm game for whatever helps me feel better overall................

I had some more blood testing done for about 150 foods and I was highly reactive to Turkey (among many other random things)..... anything is always a possibility.

    Leap Testing

I did this through my GI and notice a difference already. We can have our own opinions, but since this is helping me feel better, I'm all for it.

    Leap Testing

Well I dont know if anyone even looked at this topic, but I had the testing done and it is such a good test. They test your blood for about 150 different foods and the reaction levels. I found out that among many other things I have to cut out cranberries, blueberries, strawberries, turkey, peanuts, zucchini, white potatoes, rice, watermelon.....etc....the list is about 40 things long! If anyone has questions just PM me. I highly suggest asking your doctor about the test if you are still having symptoms. I am on an elimination diet that is part of the program and I have to eat my non reactive foods and slowly add in 1 food per day of my least reactive foods until I have the foods I can eat. They rate the foods moderate, severe, and nonreactive. I cant eat the moderate or severely reactive foods.
  12. Has anyone had the LEAP testing done? LEAP Website has more information. My GI is having me do this testing and I was wondering if anyone else has experience with it. It seems like it should be good.....
  13. It is a flourless pecan brownie and then they put icecream, hot fudge, whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top. It is the brownie that we need the recipe for. I didnt find it on that top secret recipes website.....
  14. that is exactly what was happening to me so I had to use to host my photo and just use the URL link.
