  1. In a month I am riding in a 150 mile bike ride which is a weekend long. They can not make accommodations for my celiac and I am assuming all the meals will be pastas, breads, etc. So I will need to supply all of my meals for the weekend: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, and some snacks. I will have to pack the lunches in my pack on my bike, which is not very big. I will be able to store my breakfasts and dinner in a bigger bag at camp. But I will not have any refrigeration or microwave! I will possibly have a grill to heat up my my dinner. So I need some help figuring out what to pack from the weekend! I am especially worried about having enough complex carbs. The ideas I have so far for snacks are: trail mix, gluten-free granola bars, lara bars, jerky. They will have some fruit provided as well. For breakfast I may make some muffins and have gluten-free granola. Any other ideas? I appreciate any ideas I can get!!
  2. Thanks! I know that formulas change and I have to label read everything. This weekend will be my first real grocery shopping trip to stock up on gluten free items. I am just feeling a bit overwhelmed and nervous! Thanks for the support and ideas!
  3. I am newly diagnosed with celiac. I was wondering if anyone can any gluten free grocery lists? Or any links to websites with a good gluten free grocery list? I know the basics, but I am scared my grocery trips are going to take hours with reading labels, and thought if someone else had already come up with some lists I could look at that would be helpful! Thanks in advance!
  4. I have my biopsy next week. I was just wondering how long it takes to get the results back. I have already had a positive blood test, so I am assuming my biopsy will be positive too. I just want the testing to be over so I can start moving forward! Thanks for your help!
  5. I got blood tests back saying I was positive for Celiac. Now I have a consultation with a GI specialist next week. I was just wondering what I can expect at that visit. Thanks!
