  1. Hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked before... About 2 years ago I was diagnosed w/Celiac's from a biopsy and bloodwork. I briefly followed a gluten-free diet, but found it difficult to follow because my symptoms weren't immediate (I don't get an upset stomach). My symptoms were more neurological/puffy face, foggy feeling, muscle tightness. I also have hypothyroidism and when my T3/T4 levels were normal, I felt great. Recently, I've been getting VERY flushed after eating dinner and I'm wondering if it could be from eating gluten? Do any of you get flushed after consuming a meal with gluten? It doesn't last very long, maybe like 15-20 minutes and it's not raised or anything like a rash. Just very hot and very red on my chest/neck/face. Occasionally, I'll just get flushed for no reason, and I get flushed after exerting myself. I do have fair skin but I've never gotten flushed like THIS. I figure before I go to the Dr. about this, I would ask about others experiences. If others had a similar reaction to gluten, I'll eliminate it for a few wks and see if the symptoms improve, if not I guess I'll have to get allergy tested...?   2. My Doctor Refused To Test For Celiac

    I am new to this and just came across this post. I recently started the diet and have been feeling the same way you stated. I started off with symptoms similar to yours, neurological problems. Now, I feel like I have flu like symptoms and I am freezing all the time. When I ate gluten again, I actually felt better. I'm confused as to what to do from here. Does it get any better?
