Thank you for your input -- the idea of spacing them out is good. I finally got a return call from my nutritionist telling me to GET the shots -- which I was beginning to wonder if I should -- so that solved that. The malaria meds are oral -- so thanks for the info on that. Ugh....I guess 'let the fun begin'... Thanks again for your help!

I am taking a humanitarian trip to Kenya in October. I will be working at an orphanage with children for 10 days. I'm very confused as to what to do about my travel immunizations. I'm worried after reading some comments of reactions FROM the shots for a Celiac. Any advise would be awesome. Also -- any known 'names' of Malaria meds that are known to be gluten free? (since it has to be swallowed). THANKS FOR YOUR HELP -- oh how nice it would be to just 'go have the shots' and not worry. 55 years old -- diagnosed with Celiac 2 1/2 years ago.

I need to have vaccinations before going on a humanitarian trip to Kenya. I am Celiac -- and so got on here to see if there was any info regarding gluten being IN vaccinations. Does anyone know? I don't have a doctor I feel like actually 'gets' Celiac Disease -- often feel I'm on my own. Look forward to the day I have a doctor that does! Thanks for any info. This is what I'll need:
Yellow fever
Hepatitis A
Typhoid
Hepatitis B (series of 3 injections

I've been Celiac for a few months (or diagnosed, I should say) -- and am researching whether I should be taking liquid supplements because of easier absorption? Could anyone share any info on whether that is the case? Just want to do what it best for my body. Thanks!

I love Greenfield's Creamy Rooibos tea -- and have been afraid to try it now that I have to be gluten free. A friend from Russia mailed me some (it actually is a British product) and I can't find ingredients ANYWHERE. Does anyone know if it is safe? Thanks!

VERY curious as to whether anyone has taken the Cross-reaction (#4) Array test from Cyrex Labs?
