  1. I see i'm not the only gamer though i'd rather do systems over computer games.
  2. Yep I just got a paper back 98% yay. So was not expecting that. It was the one i stayed up waaaay to late to finish on sunday.
  3. 1 out of 4 finals done... i'm kinda drained at the moment. I spotted a wasp in the hallway yesterday morning right? So i went to leave this morning... and guess what i found.... It was dead in front of my door. High in the 20s on sunday with snow... then back into the 40s... but snow!
  4. Not nessisarily, the low iga can throw off the TTG tests (the iga one i believe). There are some on here that have had that happen. Ask for another endoscopy and get a biopsy done. Also consider getting the genetic test done as well. Then regardless of those tests outcome, go gluten free for a good 3-6 months. Do this after you have finished testing...
  5. Yep, you'll need a new toaster. And you also should replace anything thats been scratched (such as pans and pots), colenders that have been used for wheat pasta, wooden spoons, plastic utenciles, and such. Look at the bright side, it got caught relatively early
  6. If you wish to be technical, yes it does have gluten in it, just not the type that celiacs react to. I believe i heard something about that. Some strands may be cross contaminated or something. One of the other members on here would know more.
  7. I was like that (except for math...). I could tell ya how this that or the other happened, but give me something that was outside of it, forget it
  8. I do just fine with rice, however i also wash it first (watch how sushi rice is washed).
  9. I did try really hard on my presentation. I didn't even have notes i did have a powerpoint though with some basics on it.
  10. I don't take the axiety meds (do not like them) so i use what i've learned through therapy. Coping thoughts really do help
  11. I'm glad to hear that she does well in school. I certainly didn't when i was younger (with the adhd stuff and not understanding the material). Does she like running about outside? Perhaps a sport or an after school club dedicated to such things might help (i was in one called the run/walk club where we would do fun games and stuff after school).
  12. mmmm... first off quit stressing over it. Stress does all sort of stupid things to a person's body. Just 'cause the blood tests came out negative doesn't mean that you can't have celiac. Logically, the next step would be both the genetic and the endoscopy. I'd think getting an endo done would be a good idea anyway just to have them take a look in there...
  13. Oh i understand that fully. I've had mri's with dye before but i'd rather do a HIDA scan over that again (1.5 hour scan).
  14. Guys... i just did my presentation on celiac in my bio lab today The professor said i did really good and i didn't have a breakdown panic attack like i normally would.
  15. Dear, its the stress getting to you. Calm down, take a deep breath. Tell yourself you are going to do it and nothing bad is going to happen (coping thoughts). You are strong! don't let this get to ya. I'm willing to bet they'll let ya nap in there.
  16. When i was younger, I very rarely had good days (the system of green (good) yellow (could be better) and red (bad) is what my class used). I was always on yellow and on a rare occasion red. I have a dx of ADHD. The diet has helped some, i can sit still and pay attention a bit better than before, but there are still issues (like i can't concentrate on one...
  17. Finals week is coming up (oh to the horror ).
  18. Guys, i did it again, this time with 20minutes to spare and i had to email it to the professor because our submission system was being weird (the professor already knew about it and emailed us to just email the assigment if we ran into the bug). Now onto other homework...
  19. Contact your doctor and ask them for a different medication. Its a side effect.
  20. I haven't had fish in a long time. I'd gladly eat it with ya
  21. Less for me, which is fine. Its the thought that counts.
  22. I want your snow... send it to me please.... heck i'd take the negative temps with it.... At any rate, i had an apple (a rather large one at that) with peanutbutter and honey as a dip. Its been a couple of months since i had a raw apple. Nice change of pace me thinks and my tummy didn't act up at all (outside of when i got too full, but who's doesn't...
  23. i just had the living daylights scared out of me... all thanks to wasp #9.... All i was doing was reading a book i have to do a paper on and i see this dark blob out of the corner of my eye (glasses were off). That was enough for me and i flew and the book flew. It acted like it was drunk though and was able to deal with it.
  24. Its possible. I've always had motor skills problems (for example i cannot for the life of me skip or do anything that requires that much cordination) and sometimes i wonder if celiac was a part of it.
  25. Yep, you can test negative for all blood tests and have the biopsy come out with damage
