  1. Yes, gluten consumption is needed. As for the antibodies staying, they vanish not long afterwords (thus the reason why people need to stay on it during testing). This is why its advised for celiacs to have regular blood tests after diagnosis.
  2. the thing about the biopsy is they're trying to find damage in an area that's about the size of a tennis court. It is very possible for them to miss it. Most cases, unless severe, damage is not seen with the naked eye. Get the genetic test done, that would help your family out more as celiac is a genetic condition.
  3. I wish they would do them as a manditory test for children who had vitamin issues (long story short, i had calcium laying problems as a child, my heel was jaggad at one point because of it).
  4. Thanks, but i'm good I got that paper submitted (via email no less) with two minutes to spare tad bit close me thinks....
  5. From what i've heard, bee's wax is mainly used on fruits and something similar on veggies. I could be wrong
  6. One paper done... ugh... all it needs now is to be edited. Would you believe that i started this paper three times and had to redo it each time because i couldn't get it to come out right? Time for lunch....
  7. You wanna know how i know the end of term is coming (outside of the obvious)? I generally get a weekend when i have nearly every class have something due. So, today a 4-7 page paper is due tonight at 9pm (two pages done so far), tommorow is a 4-5 page one, monday i have a one page thing and a map quiz, and on tuesday not only do i have to do a presentation...
  8. Asprin and moltren are part of the same family NSAIDS (Open Original Shared Link). IF you have an allergy to one of those, consider the rest off limits because they all act in a similar manner (this also includes but is not limited to alieve and advil). You do not want this allergy at all. There is no testing as far as i know. It is very difficult to live...
  9. aren't their tongues blue too?
  10. Honestly, the best gift is something my family knows that i have been eyeing for a long time (be it a game, a book, whathaveyou), it always makes me excited and happy that they remembered
  11. Honestly, i don't think the men venture into this thread very much I could be wrong.
  12. Guys... i'm turning into a major horror fan (stories and videogames so far)... i'm not sure how...
  13. Oh i know right? So giddy....
  14. well, thats good. College apps are
  15. When i was still on gluten, i would have these big cycst like acne things (that were painful no less). Doctors solution? put me on a long term antibiotic. Had no affect what so ever. Now that i'm on the diet, the huge ones have all but vanished (i believe when i get CC'd they come back). I still have some skin issues, but its slowly clearing up. I'm fine...
  16. No issues here with insurance and vitamin checks on my end.
  17. I adore these youtube videos... did you know...? Mameshiba were a fad for a while in Japan (not sure if they still are).
  18. you just made me crack up really bad. Yay for random posts that go in one direction and completely change the next.
  19. My IBS vanished when i went gluten free and took the vomiting with it (it was really bad, every day). I too had it for years (it progressively got worse from one to two times a month to the daily stuff), about... 9 years? I think? I remember when it first started. It got to the point where when i'd go out i'd have to map the places out and take peptobismol...
  20. Methinks they need to come up with a less painful test. Anyone with me? I was lazy so my cheese-y mess will be rescheduled to tommorow due to a 5 hour nap.
  21. ugh... no... just no... did we skip winter here? -in before massive snowstorm comes in and buries us all-
  22. The mammogram probably somehow set it off. IF your sore in one area, another is likely to act up, chain reaction and all that jazz. Glad to see you went in.
  23. Corn tortillas? Its what i use. There are also rice ones, but i've never had them. Its not too difficult. I mainly, for example, eat soups most of the time. Take the meat, brown it till ya got a good crust, add water, simmer for 2-3 hours, add whatever veggie and seasonings you like.
  24. Activa is made in a shared facility. Depending on the flavor, it does not have wheat in it except for the breakfast blends i believe, i could be wrong.
  25. honestly, as long as you are seeing some improvement, then in my opinion, you are
