  1. when in doubt, contact the manufacturer.
  2. can you tell i'm tired At any rate, i did something stupid... i left some water on to boil as a makeshift humidifyer right? It was fine when i last checked on it (like 20mins ago) right? then i start to hear this pop pop sound. I get up and the enamal (which was already weak to begin with) poping off all over the place. Luckily, my pot of soup in front...
  3. -snort- I too was written off with its all in your head issues. yet i was throwing up several times a week and had "D" daily.
  4. As long as the poo isn't black or white, generally its fine. Does he have tummy troubles? Did he by chance munch on a crayon? I have heard of this happening in small children who can sometimes eat them. The same can happen with green colored candy.
  5. grind your own? looks like you can use rice flour, potato, topica (sp fail), arrowroot, and a few others i can't think of. Did you buy the strait up flour or did you buy the premix? There is a label on Bob's that states it has been made in a factory with soy and tree nuts. The plain jane ones are straight flour. The mixes often have things added (gums...
  6. with the amount of cc you've had, i'd say it probably take a few more months to be fully healed. An example of this is say you just fell and skinned your knee (before gluten free). It starts scabbing over and healing, then you fall again reopening it (cc-ing). It may not be as bad as it was before but it still hurts. If that makes any sense whatsoever...
  7. this is one of those moments when we need a facepalm emotion. Ugh, doctors huh? Please tell me you are gluten free, there is no need to put yourself through all that.
  8. Before you start, can you get your doctor to run a full celiac blood test? If you want an official diagnosis, you must still be eating gluten for the results to be accurate. This includes the blood tests and an endoscopy to biopsy a portion of the small intestine (which has a name that i can't remember right now). There is also a genetic test that can be...
  9. Been there done that and have a postcard from it (when i was younger we didn't have one for a short while (a week or two) and i had to do dishes in the tub (we were remodeling the kitchen and whatnot, so no sink or stove for that period of time, quite interesting)). The doctor thing doesn't surprise me. Horses are far more common then zebras in the herd...
  10. I'm with kareng on this one... While that type of treatment might be good for minor things (aches and pains, those sorts), something like this? i don't think so.
  11. Could he have developed another intolerence to something? Nightshades and legumes (i hope i spelled that right) come to mind.
  12. does he play with playdough? Its wheat based. Are there any other sources of gluten that he could ahve come in contact with.
  13. sure smelt like it when i walked in after being gone for a few days (only to spay a gnat and a lady bug flying around).
  14. who says you aren't allowed to serve? I'm sure she could work on base and whatnot, as long as she isn't sent into deployment. Lying about it won't help much either because its to my understanding that military personnel go through medical examinations every so often. At any rate, get the full celiac panel done as well as the genetic test. Celiac is a genetic...
  15. nah, it acted like it was somewhat drunk.
  16. um... no... never.... i so would not try it....

  19. Guys... i don' wanna jinx anything but i just took my temp... 98.9 oh dear... (my normal is 97.2 ballpark).... My throats kinda sore (salt water gargle already done)... no cough... yet..... Oh look, three papers due next week.... my body must hate me....
  20. Its a possibility. If airborn flour can get ya, why not the dust from planting?
  21. whole foods are cheaper than processed ones. You just gotta do a whole lot more cookin' then you are used too.
  22. I agree with the idea that the cocoa being cc'd by the factory. If she has hand no issues prior to this with milk, then i believe she's fine with it.
