  1. An endoscopy is considered surgery? news to me...
  2. How about a take over in the face of no ruler? At any rate, i'm back in my apartment. Feeling much better too (still have the simi stuffy nose) and i'm no longer "C"'d and as normal as i've ever been. Apperently the maintenence guys came by to deal with the bug issue. they removed some and checked for nests (there were none) and told me if i found...
  3. Imo, you need to get out of the gluteny enviorment if you are getting cc'd every few days. I'm wiling to bet once you stop getting cc'd then it'll stop.
  4. no bacon in this ones fridge. It kills meh (GERD loves it). sammich with asparagus... me thinks thats somewhat balanced.
  5. My gallbladder, before it "died", showed no signs via blood test and ultrasounds ("looks normal"). HIDA scan found that it was only working at 5%. When they took it out, it appeared to be dead. Further tests on it showed one blocked duct (no explination given), however that was not what got it. One half was working against the other, thus nothing got done...
  6. i'm thinking it could be a little bit of both. Luckily, it seems, the headcold part doesn't have coughing or a fever. Just a runny nose and a stuffed up head. I did however have a really bad sour stomach last night... so yeah... I don't take anything unless i absolutely have to (such as a very high fever or if i seriously can't control coughing).
  7. My serum came out in the high normal. Get the genetic test done, as it can't hurt at this point. Of course, feel free to go gluten free regardless of the results.
  8. Just some food for thought, intolerences work both ways with "C" and "D". Have you had the genetic test? Also, see if you can get a HIDA scan done on your gallbladder (ultrasounds are useless, imo, if there aren't stones). Before you go in to see the dermatologist, make sure you have an active sore going, that way they can see what you mean. Also...
  9. where is it located upper part, middle, lower? When my GERD would get really, really bad (back when it was out of control), i dealt with the frontal pain. It would hurt so much to take a breath that i would end up hyperventilating and spiral into a panic attack. I would suggest, at the moment, to find a new doctor and demand an xray of your chest...
  10. I call bullpoo-y on that claim. There is nothing as of right now that can block the body's autoimmune system response to gluten.
  11. get off the processed stuff fully. Your body is still too raw to handle them.
  12. What do you think? I didn't start feeling off until yesterday after i fed my dog (who does eat gluten). Now i have a rather stuffy nose, aches, an ear/head ache, "C" bad, tiredness, and i feel as if i'm in a fog. Of course, some of those are shared by both sides. However, since i'm staying with gluten eaters....you never know... this is a rewritten...
  13. its fine, it erased everything i had written. No big deal.
  14. out of what? mine was 1-19 was normal, anything above was positive. I scored a 37 I believe and got a positive for both genes, yet a negative on the endoscopy and the rest of the blood tests outside of the IGA ttg.
  15. mmm... the gluten free items are good as a treat every once in a while, however if you over eat them then yeah. The only ones i can eat on a regular basis is my corn tortillas and my chex. I cannot eat pasta more than once every other week, or else. More than likely you're sensative to one of the flours that is used in those. I for one cannot handle bean...
  16. o.o it didn't go through, oh well... mods can ya lock this? Or delete it... or something to it?
  17. i think i'm catching a cold or an ear infection....
  18. piece of advice, try to find the items in store to test your rection to them first. yes, they'll be more expensive, but at least if you have an issue with it, you won't have to deal with itin bulk.
  19. If you are in the U.S. companies cannot hide gluten. It must be labeled (outside of the obvious things like a loaf of wheat bread or whathaveyou).
  20. i find rice flour to be fine. Its the bean flours that do it for me.
  21. reward chart might work. For everytime he goes to the potty, put a sticker up on a piece of paper. When so many have been collected, give him a treat (perhaps a small piece of candy or a toy).
  22. If you are in the U.S., wheat, rye and barely must be listed. It should be okay. Maybe someone else will know.
  23. Do you live in the U.S.? By law, they have to list wheat containing items. Do be careful with the paste though i've heard of one kind that has it added (clearly listed though).
