  1. spiders..... -shiver-... When i lived in MT we had some that were pretty big and were poisonous. We called them hobo spiders and they were fast as heck.... At any rate i get to go to the store today. Not going to get much cause i'm going home next week for break (yay!). But as it is right now i'm out of a few things...
  2. well... windex with viniger really does a number to spiders.... I win
  3. I just played chicken with a spider and it got away TT_TT Brown little thing, it moved fast. I thought i got it with my english textbook (it was the only thing handy) so i dropped it on it then jumped on it. Stupid carpet. It then disappered under the couch pulled the couch out and spotted it (couldn't get back in there) so i ran got the viniger windex...
  4. I wore toddler clothes until i was in first or second grade (so 6 or 7 years old). I agree don't give him the zantac. That stuff is nasty to deal with. zantac generally reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and helps with GERD issues. If he has tummy troubles outside of the "D" then that might have been why the GI wanted to perscribe it. Before...
  5. ditto about being on gluten for the testing. At this point in time, it'll probably do ya no good. I have no appitite whatsoever most of the time, so eating is me forcing myself to do so.
  6. If bobs and the second one are bothering you, do you have an issue with rice?
  7. I might do it because of my food coloring issues. If i do i'll probably post a picture on here
  8. I somehow got a sugar rush. All i did was eat an additional peanut butter and honey on a corn tortilla (was kinda hungery). I've already raided the cheese and am drinking lots of water. Its been 6 plus months since i've last had one lol. Jitter jitter jitter... It is getting better though. (and no i hsve no sign of diabities or blood sugar problems...
  9. Sounds like your gallbladder might be going on ya. Go to the doctor and have a HIDA scan done to check. It could also be that you are getting CC'd somehow or have developed another issue. A good idea is to keep a food diery and write down everything that you eat. IF you see a connection eliminate the food.
  10. Yes to all. I would have terrible "D" after eating pasta or burgers when we would go out to eat. I lived with it. The moment i went off of all gluten all my issues at the time ("D" and vomiting mainly) stopped. I should note that i delt with this for about 9 years. I can remember the first incident of it happening. And if i didn't get "D" i'd get a...
  11. Same happened to me with the genetic test. It was played down. Oh well :/
  12. you could possibly make your own if you can't find any. Prep Time: 45 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Total Time: 1 hour Ingredients: 2 cups sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup water 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract Red food coloring Preparation: Cook sugar, corn syrup, water, and cream of tartar to a very...
  13. Coolers are helpful in this case. make everything you'd want then pack it to go. You also get the bonus of having leftovers
  14. Yep, that would be an example, though i've nver heard of it except in animals.
  15. I'm one of those without signs in the intestines. I only had one of the blood tests come back positive and the genetic test. As you can tell with my sig, i have other issues. I have noticed that i am doing much much better since the dx. I can sit still for a little bit, i can pay attention in class, no more "IBS" crud, my GERD is under control, my weight...
  16. Yep. Don't let the comments get to you, it will drive you mad if you do. As for the turkey don't do it if its been stuffed. Major CC right there. What i'd do is cook up a bird for myself and take a little with me with whatever sides ya want. That way you have leftovers (turkey does well in chicken dishes and whatnot).
  17. Sooooo today in one of my classes a student did a presentation on fukushima and cited the chernobyl incident along with images of its victims. (i am not trying to start a debate or anything of the sort) I have an interest into various... shall we say medical conditions caused by genetics or whathaveyou, both lifetaking and able to live with ones? So, following...
  18. There is a little bump there a little bit away from the main itchy spot. No redness no nothing -sigh-
  19. I believe most hard cheeses are lactose free (or so i've heard).
  20. Eat a whole foods diet, thus your bill will become lower. Processed stuff is good and all but its better to eat it as a treat. I spend about $30 a week on food this way. I am a college student as well, however, i don't drink. So i can't help ya there.
  21. I've never had DH luckily. I'm suspecting the floss. I think i've had that one container of it for a couple of years. My grandmother has an allergy to cinnimon and so far i haven't shown anything. I was blindsided when i became allergic to tomatos Other than that i'm "sensative" to latex (if i'm in contact with it too long i get red and irritated)....
  22. i'm going to try some benadryl cream on it in a bit to see if that helps -sigh- maaaaybe not... i'm unsure about putting that stuff on so close to my mouth. I had a similar experience over the summer with my feet and i had to keep them plastered in it for it to go away. -sigh-
  23. I love a good elk burger. At any rate, I had a cheese wrap with a big bowl of broccoli.
  24. Hot tip: Always look up stuff before you leave. It saves time and gives you an idea however be careful as companies can change the formula....
