I couldnt get on the board for awhile....was I the only one?? Laura, Thanks for the update....WOW.....its alot to digest I'm sure. I'll be thinking of you and sending some positive vibes your way as you get started on the treatment. I think with the RMSF and also mycoplasma your doctors are making the right decision....not to mention... -
ARCHIVED Prometheus Labs Vs Enterolab For Genetic Testing
Rachel--24 replied to a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Some people want to know if they are actually susceptible to Celiac. If they carry genes which can predispose them to the disease....in this case the genetic testing can be helpful. I agree...if your son has symptoms which clear up on the diet...it doesnt really matter what his genes are. -

Thanks Andrea. I just did a serach and OMG...this is not as difficult as I thought it would be. The one Patti posted seemed pretty easy to use....no installation even. I found a bunch more...they are just balls that hang from the bath and the water passes over it while it runs. After the bath is full you kind of drag the ball through the water a few... -

Thanks Patti! I wonder if they have these kinds of things at Bed Bath and Beyond or places like that....I'm gonna look around. I might end up ordering from this site if I dont find anything in the store. This gives me a better idea of what I'm looking for. Anyone know about how long they last?? -

Carla...that is an awesome list of mercury free dentists!! Why couldnt I find anything like that when I was desperately searching?? My brain wasnt working all that well but I would have been really happy to have a list like that in front of me!! I did end up with a good dentist though...looks like there are quite a few in my area...I'm happy... -

Yikes is right! I dont rememeber my bill but I only had 2 fillings removed and it was done in one visit. I did have two other composites that were put in by the regular dentist (that I dont like ) and since we didnt know what materials were used he removed those and used materials that I tested compatible with. I know my bill had to of been around... -

Well...I dont think the NDF has even touched any mercury in me yet... Check this out NDF will bind to the first toxins it meets on its pathways into the system until its dose related binding capacity is used up. As seen in the case history from Dr. Marcial-Vega on FG, dated 10/4/200, it seems to have bound and dissolved plaque and mycotoxins... -

Chlorella binds with mercury and gets it out through the stool. It basically coats the gut and binds with any metals which come to the gut by one of chelators....usually DMPS. Once the metals get to the gut the chlorella pretty much "escorts" them out. It doesnt actually go into the tissue or the brain and mobilize mercury though. This is what is suppossed... -

But I mostly take baths??? Can you get these things only for shower heads....what about baths?? Mango....good luck with the chlorrela!! Were you taking it for mercury or for something else?? -
ARCHIVED Prometheus Labs Vs Enterolab For Genetic Testing
Rachel--24 replied to a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Enterolab is the only lab who tests for "sensitivity" genes. If you get tested for Celiac genes using Prometheus....and dont have a Celiac gene.....then you can be 100% positive that you *do* have sensitivity genes. I would go for whichever test is more affordable for you. You are *guaranteed* to be positive either way with Enterolab because basically... -

Based on everything you've written I would seriously look into something like Lyme. Also you mentioned your sisters health is not good either?? The bacteria is passed from mother to child so it could be something like that. In this case I notice that the children often do get sickly and end up with autoimmune disease. Also the symptoms can wax and wane much... -

This seems to definately be my problem....the yest are attached to the mercury like my Dr. said. This is why he was saying my system is gonna get flooded with yeast when I start removing the metals. He said the candida will get worse before it gets better. HOLY COW....mercury is in BOUNCE!! I had actually read that almost 4 years ago... -

More interesting stuff about NDF. Apparantly even the probiotics in it are "different". On my bottle of NDF it says....Polyflor cell wall lysates of: and then it lists all of the probitic strains in the NDF. This is what I read about it... Why include Cell Wall Broken Lactic Acid Bacteria? One of the reasons probiotics are so valuable... -

Chlorine always shows up as a problem for me in BioSET. I know that I should definately avoid it. I dont know anything about these filters...are they easy to install?? How do they work?? Can I get one at Home Depot or something?? Where can I find them?? -

Liz...its true that the removal itself exposes you to more mercury. Thats why its important to see someone who does it properly. They can give you supplements to help your body get rid of anything you're exposed to....they sometimes also give a shot of Vitamin C as well. If you're already toxic from mercury and it is taking a toll on your health it sometimes... -

This is the way to go. If you have candida.....its there for a reason....better off finding what that reason is then fighting an endless battle with the candida. Another way to find a good Dr. might be through a biological dentist. A dentist who practices the safe removal of amalgams and is mercury-free will likely know of a good Dr. for diagnosing/treating... -

In case you havent seen this...this is from Dr. Klinghardt's website. He is one of the worlds leading experts on mercury detox and he is also the inventor of ART. BioSET is electrodermal testing so its somewhat different. Open Original Shared Link This is a difficult one for me to answer. Even though I knew that mercury was a big... -

Good point! I think forgot to welcome January Flower since her post brought back alot of memories of what my uninformed dentist was telling me. I do welcome you and your thoughts January Flower!! I'm a bit traumatized by the whole mercury/amalgam thing so please dont take my thoughts/beliefs personal. -

My dentist removed my silver fillings because they were breaking down....one was already broken. When discussing replacement materials for crowns I requested porcelian crowns. He gave me the same speech you typed about porcelain being less duarble, higher decay rate, etc. He told me gold was a much better option...more durable, longer life-span, etc. Had... -
Awww... I'm sorry you are going through this at an age where you should be having fun with your classmates. Its a drag I'm sure.....hopefully you will get this under control soon with treatment and can feel better....with more energy. I'm sending positive thoughts your way.

Andrea....I would fall into the group that did not recover following removal. This actually deterred me from my earlier suspiscions that mercury was the main issue. I think this is mainly because I was already way too toxic by the time they were removed. My liver detoxification is too impaired. Mercury stops the enzymes from working and severely impairs... -

Ummmm.....show me the research. I think the research showing that it is harmful is quite compelling. Not to mention that I've had the misfortune of learning the hard way. Believe me when you walk into a dentist office in great health and leave only to watch your health deteriorate to the point that within 2 months time you are on state disability...
