    Yes but there isnt any scientific evidence to back this up. People who dont have Celiac genes......no matter how sick they are....generally do not have positive biopsies.     The body cant always detox mercury on its own....not if the load is too great and not if the mercury is stored in the tissue.     Enterolab's malabsorption test isnt a true indicator of villi damage. You can have severe malabsorption and yet have NO villi damage. They are two seperate issues. Malabsorption can be caused by many factors....whereas villi damage is specific to Celiac and happens as a result of the immune systems response to gluten. This is the genetic aspect....villi...

    This Dr. is correct. If your sister doesnt have a Celiac gene....it is very unlikely she will ever develop Celiac. Only about 1% of Celiacs dont carry a main Celiac gene. In my opinion if you have "gluten sensitive" genes (non-celiac).....you do not have to get everyone in your family tested for Celiac. Only if there is a diagnosis of Celiac Disease...

    Did they ever tell you it could be MS?? I was tested for MS right off the bat...my first visit to the neurologist...and I left with a referral to radiology for a brain MRI.     If I have kids I dont know if I should breast feed or not. Obviously I would want to breast feed after learning all this....and going through all this sickness myself. But is it too late now?? Now that I have infections (mostly worried about Lyme).....it could get passed through breast milk. Seems like it could be a lose/lose situation....

    I wasnt breast-fed. I only found this out a couple years ago when my mom accompanied me to a doctors appt. The Dr. asked her if she'd breast-fed me....and the answer was no. The Doc said if shed have done this my immune system would be stronger.
