    Claire, Its not the mold itself...its the mycotoxins which the molds produce. All fungi and yeasts produce mycotoxins....this is what causes health problems. Its actually not "candida" itself which makes someone sick....its the toxins that are produced by Candida...there are 79 toxins known to be produced by Candida. Same with toxic black mold growing...

    The reason for my statement is not to seperate the two issues. I clearly said that *anyone* who is reacting to gluten should remain on the diet. I do not see a difference as far as treatment goes....nor do I see a difference between a biopsy proven celiac vs. serology vs. dietary testing.     Guess what!!! I waited for a week to post this....but....I CAN EAT EGGS!! I've been reacting to eggs since I got sick. In the past year everytime I tried to eat an egg...I'd react...and these were organic eggs....usually Horizon. The only meat I can eat is organic grass-fed beef...none of the other organic meats....definately not chicken...

    Yes, She can still have it. The labs that test for Lyme arent very sensitive at all....I think they are less than 60% sensitive. That means alot of people have false negatives.     ARK...make sure whoever reviews the results knows how to read them. They can appear to be negative when in fact they are questionable and the lab recommendation in this case would be to re-test after a period of 4-6 weeks. I've seen it happen where Dr.'s ignore this and just report the test as negative.....when in fact its not...its equivocal...

    I dont think Candida could be a miasm....mainly because its more of a symptom of disease...rather than a cause of disease. The miasm would have to be a cause for my illness. It sounded like she wasnt thinking that Lyme could be the miasm....unless it was somehow just showing up as a miasm in the testing. From what I've read miasms are usually inherited...

    I need to look into the HHV-6 a little more. I'm pretty sure it could be a miasm. My test reults for HHV-6 were positive 2 months ago...but it was assumed to be a past infection. It very well may be...BUT the lab report says this... 0.89 IV or less.........Negative: No signifant level of detectable HHV-6 antibody. 0.90 -1.10 IV.........

    Hi, I had the test....it took about 2 weeks for my Dr. to get the results back. IgeniX is in my area....a couple blocks from my doctors office....so my blood was brought over to the lab right away. I dont know if this may have sped up the process. I would say you should get the results between 2-3 weeks. My insurance covered half of the cost of testing...

    Claire, This is one reason... Also...gluten being difficult to digest...(paticularly when the intestinal lining is damaged) FEEDS candida. So...along with the symptoms you would get from the opiates...you would also be having worse candida symptoms as well.     I find this statement to really have merit. When there is leaky gut (without Celiac) these proteins are going to cause reaction in ANYONE....no doubt about it.     Carla, I dont think the food intolerance is simply because of the immune system being on hyper-alert. I think its more likely due to leaky gut. All of the food intolerance wouldnt occur with a healthy environment in the intestine. I dont think just killing off Lyme will heal the intestines.
