  1. I would think that a presence of a fever would indicate the flu. But you have to remember, that often after being gluten free for some time, you react totally different to a gluten exposure. The blisters would certainly indicate a gluten exposure. I don't know if this was a help and I know that everyone reacts differently. I have been gluten free...

    ARCHIVED Kinda Gross...

Now, I have thrown up after a glutening. You may have some gastritis which results in the foul burping. I would recommed that you stick to some plain foods for a while and see if it will improve.
  3. I just wanted to add a note here. Lee & Perrins Worcester Sause IS gluten free.
  4. Boost and Ensure are gluten free, except for the Chocolate Malt.
  5. I try to use Paul Newman's products because profits are donated. I believe all of his pastas and salsas are gluten free.
  6. Angie: All are gluten free - from the 2006 Delfi List 7-up Pepsi V-8 Dr. Pepper Lipton Teas ENSURE Sprite Coke Ocean Spray Snapple I also would ASSUME that all ginger ales are gluten free
  7. Rusla: Are you dancing nekked under the tree yet
  8. Touching things containing gluten can not hurt you. Putting you fingers in or around your mouth after you have played-fed-cleaned the rabbit can. Gluten must be ingested. Some also react to flour dust in the air.
  9. I use Dove and Pantene with no issue. Crest is also gluten free. Crest Whiteing Strips are gluten free.
  10. When I go out and I know that there will be food there prepared by someone else I just eat before I go. Some bring their own food You can politily explain the you have several food allergies. Most people are understanding. When we get invited out to someones home for dinner, most people know that I have celiac and I always offer to bring a dish that...
  11. The best BBQ sauce that I have tried is "Sweet Baby Ray's"....it is soooo good.
  12. Have a wonderful celebration. Lisa
  13. Rachel: I don't know who you are addressing. But, I will answer as if: I had the endoscopy and biopsy, both indicated celiac. I talked to a NP for a five minute follow-up. She said, yup you have Celaic. My PP, who sent me, never called and it has been a year and half. No one told me anything. In the interim, found celiac.com. and taught myself...
  14. I can relate. We are getting a Farm Fresh in the spring in po-dunk NC. Going to the existing one a half hour away, is one of my biggest adventures. ...."You know your Celiac, if....") Perhaps, it's time to run celiac3270's thread again? Lisa
  15. the worst part is the anticipation........the rest is a piece of cake (gluten free). Drinking that crap, or swallowing 24 pills is pretty bad, but that's the worst. You will be fine, but make sure you take someone with you. I did not remember a thing when I came out from under. I had to ask my husband four times what the doctor said. It's...
  16. Sorry Robin: Don't know what to tell you, other than perhaps flavors. It is soo frustrating.
  17. Wow, you're asking the wrong person. I am just beginning to learn. This is the best that I know now. When your gut is porous, molecules seep out, by- passing your liver which cleanses the toxins in your system. It seeps into the blood stream and your body fights the toxins. Resulting in a high WBC. And those toxins can effect other parts of your body...
  18. Nancy and Rachel: I have been reading about Leaky Gut all afternoon. Perhaps that may explain why, when tested, my white blood count was up and liver enzymes as well. My energy level just isn't what it should be. And I am still under that fog. This is facinating stuff. You both have gained so much knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to post...
  19. Simple, oh , not here, but have eaten with no issues.
  20. Yes, I do agree. Try the diet. It is a more health alternative than others. Although, it needs to be 100%. Give it a try for three months and see what happened. What can you loose. A member here, "Nini" has "Newbie Beginners Survival Kit" that you may feel useful. Find her name, under members list and click under her name. It is a wealth of...
  21. Everyone reacts differently and would strongly refer to a medical consultation.
  22. I just wanted to add the the water will move the gluten through her system more quickly, and to fend off some hydration with diareah, but it won't stop the autoimmune reaction. That most like is already in place. Hang in there and hugs.
  23. Thank you for posting this. This is, for me, the most difficult areas of going gluten free. What a challenge????
  24. Maker sure that you are checking your shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, mouth wash, lipsticks (gender related), or anything that can get into your mouth.
