Renee: That is an option you may need to exlore. There are any people that post here that work in restaurants and do it successfully. There are always so many things to adapt to in a gluten free lifestyle. Of course you know not to get anything into your mouth, which you have indicated. As well, you wash your hand often. AsH: I think that it is very irresponsible for your doctor to mention "all those bad" things without investigating. No wonder why you are scared to death. ....and on the phone as well. (excuse me, but he was an ass, with no bedside manner) I would suggest that you write down a food diary. Write down everything that you eat and watch for a reaction... -

I have been gluten free (96% with accidents) for 14 months now, and I can't function without my omeprizol/prilosec. My biopsy indicated gastritis, large hiatal hernia, and bluting of the villi. I suspect the the hernia is the cause of the gastritis. I suppose that I should get it fixed, but I be chicken. -

I am sorry to say, that I will have to ammend my post. I usually drink Seagram's 7 and 7-up without issue. During a Christmas Party 24 hours ago, I was served Jim Beam and 7-up.....needless to say, I won't do that again. Please be cautious this holiday season. -

Have you checked your lipstick, lotion, shampoo and toothpaste? Anything that can get into your mouth will add gluten to your system if not gluten free. -

I get soreness after I have been glutened, after the diarrhea has passed. But it is nothing like you have described. Perhaps someone will post in the morning. You know the board is always slow on the weekend. I hope you can find a answer.

Got a question: I have received several e-mail notations that someone has put ME on their friends list. Do I need to approve this? I changed my selection to "receive, pending approval". I would think that a crustless quiche would be great. You can use Hillshire sausage, or Jimmy Dean ,cheese, chives (I do love chives), green peppers, mexican peppers........top with sour cream and salsa.......do easy, it's that time of the year. -
