I think drug companies shouldn't advertise, they should only be allowed to fund 'A' government organization such as the CDC, who in turn should make generalized commercials and list all possible drugs that could relate to a condition.

Wow I could be "free of alergies" but then I may have an increased risk for.... This shouldn't be said on the air ether, since they always seem to lead up to a wonderful life because of the drug then list the problems it may cause, this would be best left to the doctors to explain before prescribbing the drug.

On my soap box of that, doctors should not be given 'gifts' from such companies. I can't accept gifts from my clients for reason of personal preference/gain. My business doesn't affect the welfare of individuals though! This mentality should hold for doctors too.

On a happer note, I am glad to be finally diagnosed with 'something' for many years, CT scans, blood test and etc, only made me a crazy hyper condreact(sp?).

I have in the past had acid reflux real bad, I take Prevacid for the reflux, works well. However for the cramps I had these real bad when I was younger, before my wheat allergy, I was diagnosed through a breath test as having Helicobactor Pylori, may want to look into it.
