  2. I have the same problem at work. I pack my lunch in a columbia travel cooler with ice packs, make sure to keep the cover loosely on when microwaving and wash all my dishes when I get home. I eat in my car or at my desk everyday and read a book.

  7. I'm seeing a functional medicine doctor as well. They can run an Alcat test to determine. It is pricey though. I tried the elimination method and was able to figure out some though. Cutting out processed food helps, and other major allergens one at a time, such as dairy, eggs, soy etc.
  8. Hi zengess, I feel your pain.. my family doesn't get it either. My husband is very supportive though, so that helps a lot. I volunteer to host all holiday dinners if possible so I know the food is safe. If I go to someone else's house, I bring my own food and serve myself first, or eat beforehand...

  10. I believe Dextrose can be made from wheat. I think Maltodextrin is usually derived from corn, but can also be made from wheat. I find it's easier to just not eat a lot of processed food, or only eat it if it's certified gluten free or from a trusted brand.
  11. Hi Tracy, I take Zantac with no problems. Also, liquid Gaviscon works well for me and is listed on their website as gluten free.
  12. Thanks Renaye. I have vitreous detachment so I'll have to check with my ophthalmologist to see if it's ok to go on. Does the Plaquenil treat the symptoms, or stop then from progressing, or both? Do you have to get frequent lab work if you're on it?
  13. Hmm, that's interesting. I eat a lot of high oxalate foods too, so that may explain it. Thanks! I should probably start taking a calcium supplement with my D3.
  14. I take sublingual B12 and D3. That really boosted my levels. It doesn't have to go through your digestion. You just put it under your tongue. I buy D3 in liquid drops and B12 lozenges.
