  1. Calling out to those of you that also get just headaches/bodyaches from gluten. I’m having a hard time pinpointing whether or not I’m just getting over one exposure or if I’m getting continual exposure. I’ve figured out that my headache/bodyache comes about 48 hours after exposure but then for the...
  2. I’ve been dealing with horrid heartburn ever since I had an endoscopy in August and Zantac is the only thing that helps me. I hope you find relief soon!
  3. I’ve recently figured out that it takes me 2-3 days (most of the time 3) to have a reaction. I have the neurological symptoms, migraine and body aches, which I figured is why it takes me longer for a reaction. Knowing this has definitely helped me identify what is glutening me and it doesn’t fee...
  4. Thanks, Chrismark! I have bad dry eyes which not even the gel drops help. They're always red no matter how many eye drops I use a day. What brand of vitamins do you use? I've been taking Nature's Bounty b complex and have avoided the eczema and canker sore after my last glutening. But if I could...
  5. My detective hat is finally hung...after a feel-miserable-day I finally figured out the culprit--Jimmy Dean turkey links. I thought I had fully researched them in the past but decided to give it another go tonight. Mysterious "caramel coloring" maybe to blame. Frustrated with myself for not checking...
  6. Thank you! How very helpful. I will look into a B supplement. That makes good sense since I'm so very careful. Thanks for the links.
  7. I will look into sunscreen. My baby is sensitive to dairy and soy so for myself and the baby I use Badger and for my 4 year old I use Copertone babies. Badger should be okay but maybe CC in manufacturing is getting me. Thanks everyone for the help!
  8. For the past month I've been having gluten headaches, eczema and canker sores and cannot figure out where the hidden gluten is. I switched dish washer detergent (to Kirkland) but that is really the only thing I've changed. I've scoured my medications and bath/body products, looked at every food label...
  9. Thanks everyone. I just spoke with Honest and they said the wheat is just in the absorbent material and not in the cloth. I asked what plant material is in the cloth and she said she'd get back to me. I definitely prefer to be safe rather than sorry. I'm considering cloth diapers but I'm just not...
  10. I used Honest diapers with my first child before I was diagnosed. We have a newborn and before I start using Honest diapers again (which do have wheat in them) I'm wondering if anyone has had an issue with these diapers. I don't imagine you get exposed to much gluten, if any, by touching them but...
  11. For me figuring out additional sources of gluten has been maddening but here's what I've learned in the past year (when I went gluten-free) that has helped. First, it's really important to replace anything in your kitchen that's wood or plastic or scratched. It's expensive but well worth it. I started...
