  1. I have been gluten-free for a little bit over a month. (yay me!)

Overall, I feel much better. That underlying, constant pain in the bottom of my gut is mostly gone. My headaches have lessened, but who knows what that's related to. I also seem to be in a much better mood!

Anyways, along with this whole gluten thing, I was also having menstrual issues - it wouldn't stop. I would usually get about two weeks off a month, and then spotting turned to heavy spotting turned to a nice long and early period. My OB took me off the pill until my body re-regulates itself.

Anyways, the last week or so, I have been RAVENOUS. I just can't seem to stop eating. And then the whole mood swing is up and down, as well. My lower gut has also been hurting more than not - which it shouldn't with the gluten-free. Very traditional PMS.

So could my menstrual cycle just be so insanely out of whack that I'm stuck in a week+ of delicious, face-feeding PMS? Am I accidentally glutening myself with stuff I thought was safe? Or is there some other irritating intolerance that is waiting in the shadows?

For those of you that do have multiple intolerances, how did you discover this? Did you notice an improvement after going gluten-free, and then everything got worse again? Or only after you ate said food?

Why do I feel like crap this morning? I just can't seem to find any pattern.

I am absolutely grasping at straws. I am actually flying home to WI next week to see my alternative medicine dr who is amazing. Chiro, Acu, Cranial, Herbs...all sorts of good stuff. (If anyone in southeastern WI needs a dr...I wish I still lived there in light of the whole gluten-free thing).

  3. I am finding myself very angry at having this disease and not being able to eat normal junk food, etc. Does anyone have a similar experience? I get so angry I get depressed. It is very frustrating

I find candy bars a good junk food, and I also made the best apple cinnimon muffins the other day, to die for (believe it or not), also chips, are another good junk food, and also found out how much I like watermelon. It is sweet and takes care of my cravings for sweet stuff.
