it's a terribly sad article and.....as celiacs, I think we would ALL have the same reaction in reading it, but I am curious to know.  she hasn't approved my comment.....I read a couple dozen of the 300+ comments and they were all just supportive of weight issues, accepting who you are at whatever weight (her father struggled with weight all his life and died a slow, miserable celiac death - but this was never, ever addressed apparently)....

Damn. I get to this thread and I have no words. So much history....Shroomie...... she was one of our own, a silly with all that that means. You guys understand.

:'( she certainly was, Pads. I haven't been around and now I want to go and read and savor her amazing words all over this forum....

I am stunned and also saddened to know that I am here too late to communicate with her....the card i purchased was never sent, as is my very bad habit. What a gal she was.....did anyone ever get the chance to meet her, when she came to the states?

Are you taking the generic or the brand? As far as I know - both are gluten-free. But - - PLEASE be careful if it's generic Wellbutrin - - - many people have had TERRIBLE experiences on me (including myself) and - - I was told that this month's Oprah has an article, in fact, about this very thing.....

I had pretty significant D from the two times I ate cheetos....I am pretty sure it's the MSG - evil stuff and I completely avoid it now.

So why do I still get them? I'm wondering if having a low grade sore throat all the time is attributable to the stones and whether it means I should have my tonsils out or just wait to see if things settle down on the diet

You know...my mom, in her late 60's, was getting them off and on, and the doctor told her part of her tonsil had grown back, said it was tonsilitis, and gave her an antibiotic. But, she just said that her tonsil is swollen again....

Ewwwww - gross! I have them too, and STILL have them almost four months gluten-free. Not as much, though. Tonsil stones.....what next??

It is odd.....I never had stomach pain at all, just intestinal issues I attributed to nerves and medication. Now, five weeks gluten-free and 3 times, after accidentally ingesting, I am in SEVERE distress for a couple of days, with major D and really pronounced abdominal pain. It's no fun at all!
