  1. Unfortunately no insurance.... and yes, endoscopy biopsy determined I am celiac... Also had a colonoscopy done and had nothing show up...
  2. Greetings... My subject is a not so fun one to discuss but... I have been on a gluten free diet for 4 going on 5 years now. I am still suffering from diarrhea... I still get periodic pain in my lower left gut area, like a build up, and then the diarrhea. It's not like before while I was still eating gluten. Most, if not all, of the the other symptoms...
  3. Greetings, I was diagnosed with Celiac about 4 years ago, suffering all of the extreme symptoms due to the late diagnosis in life, I am 51 now. When I was 17 I also suffered pleurisy... Just adding another potential affirmation...
  4. Greetings, As a few on here know, I am about 4 years post diagnosis, and freely share my experience. I too am an avid coffee drinker. Over the past 8 years or so I had noticed that even coffee failed to give me that morning "umph" to get my day going, or give me that occasional "pick me up" in my day. Well, last month my care provider ordered a blood...
  5. Have you been diagnosed with Celiac? It's not a fun process, but depending on your age it may be time for a colonoscopy / endoscopy any way... It's really difficult to treat something without solid diagnosis... That being said... I use to endure consistent lower gut pain, specifically lower left side. To this day I don't "know" why, but it was almost...
  6. I am in the U.S..... And I have searched for those miracle words, "gluten free" on pain relievers and I've been utterly unsuccessful...
  7. Greetings! I am a 51 yr. old 4 year post diagnosis Celieac. Between the drawn out healing process, and just plain getting older, I'm discover the need to find a pain reviler for the aches and pains associated with the for mentioned symptoms of discomfort. I have found a product called Curamine, which is a curry based, and has been helpful, but the stuff...
  8. Not to be argumentative, but to be clear... My statement was based upon first hand experience from my own discovery of the correlation between my symptom flare ups and the ingredients I found listed on food labels... And law or not... I can guarantee you that not all food labels are as clear about their ingredients as the "law" would expect them to be...
  9. When I was diagnosed about 2 1/2 years ago, it was by way of endoscopy/biopsy.... The biopsy revealed the celiac with wheat allergies! I discovered that wheat and most gluten food are like twins in the realm of diet. (not all gluten is from wheat, just that most modern foods use a form of wheat gluten in their processing...ie; 'modified food starch' as...
  10. I am one of the 'long term late diagnosed' cases... At the worse point of it all I went from being a 6'1" 245ish man to a 137 pound 6' man, I was wasted away to pretty much nothing.... Virtually every aspect of my physical existence was deteriorating... Long story short, one thing led to another and I was qualified for a temporary insurance which allowed...
