  1. I was reading the ingredients of the gluten free/wheat free labeled Mi-Del cookies. Under the ingredients is an allergy warning stating that the cookies are made in a factory that also produces wheat products. I'm confused by this because wouldn't they then be a risk for cross contamination? Is it different for people with a wheat allergy?

    I eat the oreo-like cookies just fine but I have strong gluten reactions to all their other supposedly gluten-free cookies......So, I avoid Mi-Del like the plague.....Too bad there are no regulations on "gluten-free". I would say they have cross-contamination issues. I won't buy anything if its made in a factory that makes gluten products...
