  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. hey, could you lmk what restaurants have gluten-free pizza in chicago. I'm going in a day, my email is jjvogre@aol.com hope you get this soon, Jesse
  3. couldnt make it to the opening day but got there tuesday night i got a choclate chip cookie and couple of cupcakes. they were sold out of most everything which was blah... i kinda want to have the bagels and the bread so will preorder it. the price for the loaf of bread was quite reasonable in my opinion, it was less than whole foods and its fresh baked i want them to make pizza for the busy days, it would be nice to go there the day befor thanxgiving and be able to buy a slice of gluten free pizza.... maybe four slices actually or the whole pie... getting hungry now... go check it out if you havent already. peace, jdog
  4. yeah, this is a good idea, i thought about it a while ago though never initiated any action another avenue that i think hasnt been mentioned is the fast food industry, target them hard and get one chain after another to commit a few items to be gluten free. Mc D's has nothing practically and they could very easily w/ a little bit of a push. for example there grilled chix would be good if they would use rice flour in the marinade (i believe it is in the marinade, if not the what hell are the chix breast' made of!). i wrote a letter to sam's club once about there roasted chix though they have done nothing, there chix is bought from an off premise supplier and then roasted in store. Long John silver could have dedicated fryers and make there hush puppies gluten free, also they could make a gluten free tempura batter..... i hope i have sparked some other people here w/ some ideas. i know as a groupl we can get things done though... pm me if you like what i have to say, we can get the ball rolling, jdog
  5. gluuteny.com has posted Sept. 22 @ 2 P.M. they open. I plan on going sometime in the evening..... ozzfest was great, got some good footage w/ zack wild doing the national anthem, road to nowhere, and this drunk guy behind me the whole way through!!! kinda reminded be of a weird simpsons episode somehow.... BIGGEST MOSH PIT OZZFEST 07..... only in Pittsburgh.. peace, jdog
  6. i'm from pittsburgh too, there is a store called gluuteny which just opened up i believe this past weekend its in squirrel hill. i havent gone there yet, but i do believe they have a website. for food i usually go to whole foods and for flours i go to the chinese shop right across the street from wholey's. they got white rice flour, tapioca flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, and other stuff too. the flours are well priced at 59 cents for one pound bag. i need to find a place that sells redbridge in pittsburgh for friday, ozzfest, as i am not paying six dollars a beer at store. if anyone knows where to buy this please point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated. peace, jdog
  7. i am making the biscuits also.... lmk about other recipes; need a cake recipe. lata, jdog
  8. very nice.... thanx for posting this info very much... peace, jdog
  9. interested. i live in the 'burbs of pittsburgh. lmk, jdog
  10. i got out of college a couple of years ago, since i cook i will say it is a lot of work cooking gluten free, and probably more if your at a dorm or school in general. pizza crust isnt too expensive to make though or pie crust. xanthum gum will cost a little, but last a while. chinese food shops do have the hookup on rice flour, potato starch, and sometimes tapioca flour. i can get one pound bags of rice flour for 60 cents i believe, which helps.... look for one around your way for sure.... as far as beer pong goes, just bring one or two gluten free ones and fill up your partners when you get scored on! thats what i do when put in the situation.... if your in pittsburgh and see this lmk, also how do i get my pic posted on the profile? keeps saying the file is too large. jdog

  13. tinkyada, excellent stuff i have a few bags on hand so i dont go hungry.... i wanna get some of this biaglut and nottapasta now though.... how about pancakes though? honestly, i found this stuff down VA and it is primo. its called maple grove farms. wasnt even expensive, like $3 a box. i recommend that you have blueberries on hand as it only complements it more.... i like cooking. i think im gonna test this stuff out to make some pastry type breads, some kind of grilled stickies, adjusted w/ a few extra ingredients. $0.02, jdog p.s.: someone get me a board administrator so i can get my pic up, please...
  14. ive had erosions on my fingers like one of the top two pics, left and middle, for months maybe a year. is there anything i can do to get rid of them? amen they arent painful, but they aren't something i care to see anymore either. hope to hear from someone, jdog p.s.: can someone help get a pic of me posted? it says talk to a board administrator though i dont know how to get a hold of one. please lmk.
