  1. Celiac.com 10/31/2018 - It’s official. Twitter official. Kourtney Kardashian has made peace with wheat and dairy, and called off her highly touted gluten-free, dairy-free diet. After several years of avoiding them like the plague, the celebrity is now on good terms with both gluten and dairy and is ready to accept them back into her diet. In a new post on her website, the ever busy Kardashian says she’s relaxing a bit, and allowing for dietary deviation and occasional indulgences "in moderation." Kardashian and gluten are not exactly new besties. For now, Kardashian says, she plans to remain gluten-free and dairy-free at home, but more flexible when traveling and dining out. "Lately, I've been less strict about avoiding gluten and dairy…Everything in my pantry is still free of dairy and gluten, so when I'm at home, it's still how I eat," she writes. "But when I go out, or have a craving, I'll have whatever I want. I try to do everything in moderation in my usual routine." In addition Kardashian noted recently on her website that, in addition to a few choice supplements, she usually starts her day with “one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar mixed into a glass of water." 2. Celiac.com 08/02/2018 - For those who’ve been craving a juicy gluten-free social media story, crave no longer. None other than Kylie Jenner, younger sister to Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, has stepped up to oblige by labeling one of the shades of her eye shadow collection “Gluten Free.” It’s true, you can Google it. In case you, like me, have been out of the Kardashian loop lately, Kylie has most recently hitched her star to the growing makeup empire of sister Kourtney, after working with Kim and Khloe on their makeup lines. It seems that Kylie decided that one of the colors in their eye shadow palette was just begging to be called “Gluten Free.” Cue the reaction. Meanwhile, on Twitter some celiac folk thought it was hilarious, others less than funny. @paytoncalder tweeted: The fact that Kylie Jenner actually named a shade "gluten free" makes me cringe so hard. @business_poodle tweeted: Kylie Jenner is rly selling an eyeshadow called “gluten-free” and I’m working minimum wage????? For her own part, Kourtney explained on her app (who knew?) how she came to, embrace a gluten-free diet: “I have noticed a great positive change in behavior with my children when we stick to a gluten-free and dairy-free diet. I don’t think everyone needs to eat this way but we had muscle testing done, which showed we all have sensitivities to corn, gluten and dairy.” Between welcoming daughter Stormi Webster in February, Kylie and doing things like attending Coachella, Kylie has been busy as she looks to burnish her own makeup credentials. So, is Kylie’s eye shadow actually gluten-free? Let’s hope so, otherwise we’ll be back with more about this delicious, if un-nutritious story. Meantime, for more on this zany story de jour, Google it, or check your Twitter.
  3. Celiac.com 09/30/2016 - This week in celebrity gluten-free news, Kourtney Kardashian has put her family on a gluten-free, dairy-free diet. The 37-year-old reality star explained on her website how she made the diet change after undergoing muscle testing, an alternative medicine technique that has been widely discredited by science and medical professionals. The reality star wrote: "I don't think everyone needs to eat this way, but we had muscle testing done, which showed we all have sensitivities to corn, gluten and dairy." Kourtney Kardashian says she has "noticed a great positive change in behavior" when her kids stick to a gluten- and dairy-free diet. She even offers her own personal tip for maintaining gluten-free harmony: Bring your own cupcakes to birthday parties, so gluten-free kids can still enjoy the food and fun. No word on whether sister Kim and her partner Kanye West or their kids will be joining the gluten-free push anytime soon. Stay tuned for updates on these and other related stories of gluten-free celebrities, both with and without celiac disease and/or related conditions. Read more at DailyMail.co.uk
  4. Celiac.com 09/17/2015 - This week in gluten-free celebrity news, Kourtney Kardashian rocks an eye-popping Agent Provocature bikini as she frolics in the summer surf in St. Barts. Kourtney Kardashian was in St Barts earlier this month, showing off her killer post-baby curves while shooting scenes for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. According to UsWeekly, the fit mother of three has been eating only organic, gluten-free foods and doing strict portion control to return to her pre-pregnancy size. Meanwhile, Rosanna Davison is drawing heat for making claims that link gluten consumption to autism, arthritis and schizophrenia. Initially, the former Miss World posted that the had given up gluten after finding that it gave her a skin rash and upset her stomach. So far so good. But when she added that her husband had been healing from rheumatoid arthritis after ditching gluten, the internets erupted with their particular brand of instant fury. Arthritis Ireland tweeted that: no evidence to suggest that the serious auto-immune disease of #RA can be managed through a gluten-free diet. While RTE journalist Philip Boucher-Hayes called Davison's comments "dangerous nonsense…with real world implications for people's health and wallets."
