  1. Celiac.com 05/01/2019 - Imagine my surprise when I discovered I was being glutened by my lipstick and makeup!?! After much research on why I was still suffering from gluten symptoms, I found that they both did! That search led me to Lipsense, by Senegence – this long lasting, moisturizing lipstick lasts up to 18 hours without smudging off! It's like MAGIC! LipSense is gluten-free, vegan, organic, wax free, lead free, cruelty free and non-GMO. SeneGence uses only the highest quality ingredients and all their products (Lipsense, full makeup line, full skin care line, spa line, and hair care line – all anti-aging!) are made entirely in the USA. LipSense is NOT a stain; it is not drying. After applying the lipcolor, you apply a Lipsense gloss to seal it in and moisturize your lips with Vitamin E and Shea Butter. Your lips will become more plump and you will begin to notice fewer lines in your lips!!!! Your lips will be in their best condition ever! There are over 70 colors to choose from, and over 20 glosses; which can also be worn by themselves. Beware....you may just get addicted to LipSense! There is a reason why the Rockettes and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders wear our Blu Red and Fly Girl colors, and why we're the official lipstick of Broadway - it's that good! And just wait until you try our Volumizing Mascara with growth serum, our tinted moisturizer, our smudge proof eyeliner, or our tightening and firming cream… it's all so amazing and all gluten free! Click here to see all of our Lipsense colors and skin care products.
  2. Does anyone know if Kat Von D Foiled Love Lipstick is gluten free? -Natural Seed Oil (Castor): Acts an emollient and moisturizer. -Hydrogenated Polydecene: Emollient and contributes to long-wearing effect. -Vitamins A, C, and E: Provide antioxidant and antiaging properties. Those are the ingredients...I do not know if Vitamin E would be made from wheat or soy, has anyone else had problems with this lipstick? Thank you!
  3. I stopped by the Smashbox counter just before Christmas to find a new festive lip color. The woman at the counter boasted that they just unveiled 25 new lipstick colors. I was thrilled as Smashbox's selection of colors has been limited for years. I immediately asked if the new colors were gluten-free. She assured me that they were. Being in a bit of a hurry, I did not read the tiny print of ingredients on the side of the box. I quickly applied my new festive red, and set off for my holiday party. I will spare you the details, but after 2 days of gluten related symptoms, (over Christmas), I finally read the tiny print of ingredients on the side of my new lipstick box. Half way down the side of the box was the ingredient WHEAT GERM!!! That explained a lot! Furious, I called the Smashbox counter that I purchased my new beautiful red lipstick from. The manager happened to answer. Even she claimed that all of their lipstick was gluten-free. I told her to read the ingredients, and sure enough, wheat germ listed on each one! I told her how disappointed I was that nobody at their counter new the formulation had changed, and they needed to stop assuring their customers that their lipstick was gluten-free!
  4. Hi - Does anyone have any lipstick brand names at Sephora that are Gluten Free? I'd like to go there and see if they can match my favorite color from my pre-gluten-free days. Unfortunately, Red Apple doesn't have anything close - they were my first choice. Thanks
  5. I haven't been having any reactions to my current lipsticks by MAC, but I am trying to go completely gluten free in every aspect of my life, so I ordered two lipsticks from Red Apple Lipstick. Many of you recommended this company which makes gluten free and paraben free make up products. The lipstick colors are gorgeous! I got them today. I went back and ordered two glosses within five minutes of opening the lipstick package! Thanks to those who recommended!
  6. Someone asked a few months ago if Red Apple sold any samples. Well, now they do! You can make up your own sample set! Here's the link. http://www.redapplelipstick.com/samples
