    I know...i know....Hallowen hasnt even got here and i am thinking Christmas Cake however ......i am looking for a recipe for light not dark Christmas cake.....i havent been able to find one.....if anyone has a recipe for one that they like please please post it....thats one thing i miss.... Thx

    Personaly i dont buy anything that was manufactured on a shared line...they can tell you they scrub everything out with javex still the particles do go airbourne like it was mentioned earlier......what i do is plain and simple make your own and that way you know personaly that there will be no CC.......i take trail mix to work when i work nights eat...

    With my C.D i am at the other end of the scale...most people have the god forbidin "D" after there infected....i have bloating, cramping, can even expel gas for days...having a BM is out of the question for days......i have even tried eating my diet of strictly alot of water dry fruits and nuts this seems to make matters worse....i was wondering if there...

    Thank-you all sooooo very much.....your ideas and suggestion were amazing....think the crock pot will be the best way to go....one lid to lift... i had plastic containers i can throw the meal into...lids are soft enough and flexible enough i could manage one handed....tried it already....LOL... i am really intrested in the "hot pockets".....the recipe...

    I wasnt quite sure where to post this one exactly...heres my problem.....on Sept 25 i am having surgery on my right hand splinted from my elbow to the middle of my fingers.....3wks later i will have my left one operated on.....leaving me with about 50% in my right and zipo in my left......i need some ideas for meals being one handed...i will also be home...

    I have been where you are now....i ate nothing but vegtables ( mother was very pleased) for 6mths all i wanted was FOOD that will satisfy my hunger like it did before i was diagnosed ....my advice to you is the approach i took....number one this site and the people who come here was the best thing that i found totaly by mistake....there very helpful and understanding...

    I work for the priniting company that owns and of course prinits Canadian Living..... due to my position i couldnt release any information about the " celiac pill" in the works there is a doc in Halifax at the University of Dalhouse who is working on a pill that we can take before eating.....we can eat anything ....quite intresting...i am sure there will...

    Glutenin......derived from wheat best knowen for its role with gliadin to create gluten.this is responsible for the firmness of dough in baking bread.....i would look for a different birth control.......

    I was just wondering if anyone has approached Medical Alert to see if Celiac disease can be put on? Someone with Celiac Disease is unable to commuincate to a medical team worst case and there unaware of this and give the paticent medication that contains gluten....mind you they will find out after the fact....personally i feel this will be beneifical for...

    Pizza Pizza ( like Pizza Hut) now offer a gluten-free pizza crust...i have eatten it and have not gotten sick from it...worth checking out....

    Heres food for thought....i purchased this flour as well.... in the same store came across a cookbook.....Cooking with coconut flour by Bruce Fife, N.D....this has been a very helpful tool for me as well.....i also cook with coconut oil...this cookbook has quick breads.....muffins...cookies...crackers....cakes...pies...pasterys...etc....one thing about this...

    On Feb 16th this year i got a call from my MD...he told me i tested positive for Celiac Disease...then replyed i will see you at your next visit which was 3wks away....i thought ok now what???....i was over-whelmed as well...if it wasnt for this forum i would be lost....i wasnt sent to a dietition nor did my MD provide any information on what i can and cannot...

    I am in Canada....i use and trust products like Glutanio and El Peto ... El Peto company is based in Kitchener which for me is a 2.5 hour drive...there standards are very high and they have too follow regulations provided by the goverment it is law....through my reading and research i find there is too many product differences between the US and Canada.....

    I use French's mustard all the time as well.....just a tip for ones using Hellmans Mayo....to make the taste alittle better i add a few drops of lemon juice .... its a really close second to regular mayo....i use this for a dipping sauce for chicken fingers....for added taste you can also add a bit of caynenne pepper a little bit of a kick to it....

    Not worth the risk.....crumbes can end up anywhere...even in that dishcloth you used to wipe the counter with....i personly bought a cheap 2 slicer and my bf knows NOT to use it...i also took extra percaution and put mine on the other side of the kitchen this way theres no mistakes.....as for the dishcloth.... after he cleans up his "toaster-leavens" that...

    thank-you very much for posting your list ...somethings on there i have already switched to....there was alot of newbies that i have added to my "shopping list".....funny that there was a mention of having a reaction to soya or the corn....think that is my next problem....going to the MD on Friday....thanks again for your shopping list.....
