    Hi Scott I just found out today that there is nothing abnormal in my biopsies or ct scan. I have been feeling so unwell that last week (before I got results) I cut way back on gluten and feel much better. Not sure if it's a coincidence. I don't know what to do next!! I cope better with knowledge. Thanks Anne

    Hi Scott Thans for your reply. I have been continuing to eat gluten. Went for the bloid tests and nurse said the doctor who had did my endoscopy had requested them. Range if different test samples including electrolytes and check for ceolic disease. My ITA?? blood result was 5.6 in Jan. (normal is 0-4). Also told results would be known...

    Hi I've just been asked to go for blood tests on Thursday, at a local phlebotomy clinic. I had an endoscopy done 6 weeks ago, biopsies taken (no results yet). Last had bloods done 6 mths ago and was then referred for endoscopy and colonoscopy. Wondering why I have to get bloods done, when still waiting for biopsy results? Thanks Anne

    Hi anyone experience nausea following upper endoscopy? I had one on Monday (couple of biopsies taken) but looks ok. Have had ongoing waves of nausea since. Really bad this morning. Thanks

    Hi Scott, Just home from procedures OGD went well thankfully, nothing unusual, he took 4 biopsies from my duodenum. Results will be3 months! I'm not expecting anything sinister. The colonoscopy failed due to 'looping' in my colon, which couldn't be controlled by posture change or pressure. Referred for CT colon scan. Fabulous staff. 😊

    Hi been told I'll get a colonoscopy and endoscopy 5th June, in a hospital about 70 miles from where I live. Delighted, as 'red flagged end of Jan. Going to stay in hotel day before as don't fancy travelling when fasting and taking laxatives. 😊 Hopefully can rule out/in bowel or stomach issues. Just want to know what's causing the pain.

    Hi Still waiting for my urgent colonoscopy and endoscopy (since Jan). Still having problems and now have a new pain in the right side of my back, comes and goes. Toward lower rib cage. Any thoughts? Thanks

    I keep getting these ichy spots, not many sometimes one/two. They were at first only on one elbow but now also on the side my leg near my knee. Stay for ages. Ive been total the urgent waiting list (for colonoscopy and endoscopy) has gone from 6 weeks to 12 weeks.     Hi

    Has anyone experienced burning sensation in their feet and/or cramps in the outsides of their lower legs (above ankles)?  Worse when lying down.

    Thanks Russ, I only get a few on one elbow but felt the same. Come and go the last few years. I even hoovered and sprayed my bed with essential oils as thought I was getting bitten. They take quite a while to go away.

    Thanks for this, they are like insect bites. I must look closely at them when I get new ones to see if they blister. The current ones are just healing.

    Hi Russ, Yes, it is good that she is pushing that I see a GI specialist asap. I have had IBS symptoms on and off for years. It then got so much worse when I got Covid just after Christmas (third time). This past couple of years I was wondering if there was something up with my immune system as I got a lot of chest infections, reactions to bites, etc...

I am over 55 (64) and have a family history of bowel cancer so although my GP mentions slight increase in coeliac disease test she said I needed to be seen by a gastroenterologist urgently; I am wondering if it is more because of my family history?     Hi all I am wondering if anyone experiences bruises that don't totally fade? It started happening when I got an inhection in Aug, then cellulitis from bites (in Sept), and now from a blood test. The bruises do lighten but do not go away. Thanks. Anne
