  1. I'll check the soy milk when I go back as well. I just looked at the Silk Soy Milk website, because we use a special formula made by them specifically for Starbucks. I didn't find an actual list of ingredients, but this is what I see on the site and it looks like it's out: "Silk Soymilk is made by carefully grinding whole soy beans in filtered water...
  2. Can you have soy? For sugar free syrups, we have: vanilla, cinnamon dolce, hazelnut, mocha (This is a brand new flavor, and isn't that bad. It does have a strange bitter/acrid aftertaste though, in my opinion. I'm not sugar free so I'm not used to the sweeteners used in such products, but all the other ones that we have at Starbucks don't have that bitter...
  3. I'm sad to say that both our frap bases (coffee and our UBB/creme base) contain maltodextrin, and - from what I've read- it's something to avoid. The vanilla bean powder in and of itself contains malt as well. There are many many other options at Starbucks, especially since it seems like everything else is gluten free. -Meg
  4. It is blended! Honestly, I get more specialty orders during a day at work than normal things straight off the menu. If it is found that the fraps are out, ask your local barista to just add vanilla syrup and/or regular milk (I guess I'm not entirely sure of the culprit here. Is it the actual powder we add to the drinks? Or is it the base itself? I honestly...
  5. I work at Starbucks, and I'm absolutely in love with a drink I made up myself. I probably wouldn't order it quite the way that I make it myself since it's a lot of fuss, but the basis is just blended Strawberry Lemonade. I add a couple pumps of raspberry syrup, a bit of whipped cream and a teeny bit less ice than we normally put in our blended drinks before...
  6. I also suggest the lunch thermos idea, specifically the Mr. Bento Lunch Jar. You can find them on Amazon, and they're a bit of an investment but they're well worth the initial money (about $40). It has four separate dishes, and the bottom two have lids that keep liquids in. Like someone above suggested, you can send your child off to school with piping...
  7. -Staci We're actually in the midst of finding doctors at the moment as well. My boyfriend, Mike, does want me to make sure you avoid a gastro named Dr. Fayadh for a number of reasons. After having him for upwards 6 months, barely any progress was made at all. Also, his bedside manner is absolutely atrocious. He had some very scary episodes back when he...
  8. I just moved to Las Vegas from Indiana late last September. So far I'm loving it, but getting together a support group would be awesome. I visualize dinners at safe restaraunts and gluten-free potlucks, so I'm really hoping that there's a few of us lurking in the area. My boyfriend of over a year was diagnosed with Celiac a number of years ago, and ...
