  1. Wow! thanks everyone for the input.... My multivitamin does contain iron, possibly that is what is bothering me. Also, good suggestion about drinking Ensure instead..perhaps I will try that. Thanks.
  2. Hello, Just wondering if anyone else has problems taking vitamins. I've been gluten-free for about 2 months and I just recently went to the vitamin shoppe and spent alot of money on a really good multi-vitamin and calcium supplement. Only thing is, I've taken them for 2 days now and they are making me feel horribly sick to my stomach! I've never had...
  3. dear holdthegluten, Wow! interesting that we are both having the same symptoms after going gluten free. I'm feeling generally tired and sometimes dizzy as well. It's pretty much everyday, and doesn't seem to be getting any better at this point. Definitely let me know what your doc says...I'm interested to see if they find anything..maybe it will help...
  4. Hi! I've been gluten-free for 2 months now and needless to say it has been an up and down rollercoaster. I'm having some weird issues and wondering if anyone out there has any insight....for the past 3 weeks now I've had major head symptoms, fogginess, that sometimes turn into headaches, and a general feeling of pressure in my head. I feel very stoned...
  5. Happygirl, Thanks for the response! I've actually been struggling with symptoms still, since my first post. Still feeling tired, lightheaded, dizzy, weak, not much of an apetite, indigestion...I'm being very careful about gluten, and dairy, so not sure what is causing the symptoms at this point. I'm going back to my GI tomorrow, and I've started seeing...
  6. Thanks for the response! That's interesting about Prilosec...I may try to wean myself off of it and see if it helps at all, since I am still having digestive issues after almost 2 months on gluten-free diet. Also, interesting that other people have the same reaction to salmon!
  7. Hi, I'm feeling similar. I've been feeling so many new symptoms since going gluten-free, and I can't put my finger on why or where they are coming from ...everything from worse stomach upset, to headaches, lightheadedness, weak, tired, hungry, not hungry, sweaty, then cold...good days, bad days...I sort of know where you are coming from, since I feel...
  8. Thanks for the reply! I was diagnosed by my gastroenterologist in the beginning of April through positive blood test, endoscopy/biopsy and gene test...I started the diet shortly after that. I was still using my hair products that had wheat in them for a while too, but gave those up about 2 weeks ago. I think that was actually harder than giving up the...
  9. Hi everyone, I have a some questions for anyone out there..I've been gluten-free for about 6 weeks and started out the first week feeling a little bit better, then feeling really tired and generally run-down for the next couple of weeks after that. I've been learning that this may have been a withdrawl period. Also, after about 2 weeks on the gluten...
  10. New to this site! Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with Celiac disease in April and have been gluten-free for about 5 weeks now. I went through a period of feeling better, than MUCH worse, so I decide to cut out dairy as well about 3 days ago and have improved, especially with bloating, since. However, I started to get bad stomach cramps last night,...
