I have spent time in Munich and the Alps and I can tell you there is a lot of options in that area. There are several gluten-free restaurants in Munich and I know there is one in Oberammergau (in the Alps). I have read that Weiner Wald has gluten-free sausages- though I have yet to try it out. While in Greece last I did just fine though no one will know what gluten free is and they will look at you funny if you attempt to explain it! Pack your own bread or forgo for your trip.
