I tested positive for HLA-B27 in 2001, when I was having bad, bad vision problems (uveitis) and digestion issues. I was sent to Houston's top rheumatologist, who turned me over to a group of young doctors on his staff. They told me that I was going to have to take medications for the rest of my life because I had the chance of developing a dangerous form...
