  1. OMG yes!!! Pregnancy was THE trigger for me. I have always been a person who doesnt feel good often. I suffered from migraines horribly through my whole pregnancy. After delivery I felt better for about a month and they returned. I had been suffering from insomnia, fatigue and a multitude of other symptoms. I can't tell you how many doctors visits I...
  2. I am new here too. I did not have the same symptoms as you do but mine were much more vague, fatigue, migraines, nausea. They all seemed to get a lot worse after I had my son. What I can tell you from my short(2 week experience) is that it cannot hurt to try it. I felt like a completely different person on day 2 of a gluten free diet. I did not have...
  3. Well my doctors nurse just called back and they are going to call the lab work into the hospital where I work. I guess I'll have them drawn with the thought that they will most likely be negative. I cannot eat gluten anymore!! I'll probably go on to genetic testing after that. Thanks, Jackie
  4. I really dont care about a diagnosis for myself, but I have a 15 month old son and I know if I have it that he has a much greater chance of having it. I certainly dont want to subject him to a gluten free diet if he doesnt need it. He has had numerous little problems since birth, milk protein allergy(bloody stools and all), he still seems to be very lactose...
  5. What about an EGD? Could I remain gluten free if I had one soon. I'm pretty sure I can't keep this up at all. I will have to be a diagnosed by diet person because I feel absolutely horrible.
  6. I started eating gluten free last Thurs, I was feeling a world of difference by Friday. I have felt better the past week than I have in years. I am going to have the blood test in a few days so I very reluctantly started back on gluten last night. I feel horrible. Since I went gluten-free last week I have not had a desire at all for gluten! I feel...
  7. Hi all, Need some help on what test I need. I have been a sickly person my whole life but since I had my son(and all the pregnancy) I have been in horrible shape. Migraines, fatigue and the list goes on and on. I found a lot of info on celiacs and decided I couldnt take it anymore, I needed to try it. I have been gluten-free for almost a week and feel...
  8. I absolutely feel the same way. (I know its only been a few days) Someone brought a huge plate of cookies to work and I never gave it a second glance. I am an ablolute sweets addict but I feel so great, I could care less about what I am giving up. It's totally worth it to feel human again. I guess my biggest question was whether I would still test positive...
  9. Hi all, just had a question and I'm not sure if my doc will know the answer. I have been feeling terrible for the past 2 years. Every since I got pregnant, I had 9 months of feeling like I had cancer and was going to die. Everyone kept saying it was just the pregnancy. My baby is now 15 months old and I am at my wits end. I have been to the doctor more...
